have you considered daylight savings maybe affecting your tz? there is no daylight savings happening here, so there shouldnt be a change in my tz. If we were to reschedule, my only possible time would be 10pm sunday, gmt+8

I have not, I just kinda did the math for it. I can possibly ask for an extension for another day, if you'd like, on Monday/Tuesday, because currently it's basically 5AM and I doubt I'll be awake at the time you suggest
