Finally got around to playing Champions and like always I wanted to build around underrated Megas.

This time I got a Drill team. I think people are sleeping on it after it's ability got revealed. It is still a beast even not considering the ability.

I built around a style for repeatedly letting him enter the field and throw off attacks. I was trying out Sand first but honestly I feel that holds him back more than it helps. You try to not Mega to use Sand Rush. After testing I feel it's a mon that you Mega as soon as possible and rely on it's raw stats.

The speed tier is incredible considering Chomp is everywhere. The bulk allows it to shrug off all priority and the Atk is so monstrous. Nothing short of Corvi lives +2. The team has ample responses to Corvi.
sheist scarf zoroark-h + mega phox team, been trolling hard https://pokepast.es/934f33bb13028164

larping w immunities aside, foul play for aegislash, starmie and other mons is sick. feel free to make it max speed but it aint outspeeding +2 max speed mega toise and meow anyway and modest base 125 spatk is no joke
    JGBMaster
oh and willo for lead palafin and starmie is great too
Alright since you’re rocking the broken megas before they get banned here’s a broken ass Mega Gengar team ft. the 3 best mons in the tier (Corv Chomp Samu) and Bellibolt. You could honestly put any mon on the Bellibolt slot and it would work cause the other 5 are just so broken, but volt switch helps you pivot out to Gar and trap shit (and he’s also just the goat)

update on previous team (mega victreebel).

don't mean to post the same team twice but it's way better now, managed to get to #3 again with a much more established ladder this time.

changed hat to sitrus and gave it some physdef to help beat chomp, starmie is now psychic over ib to hit pex hard w analytic, vic is now giga drain over knock which lets it lead way better into ho and quaq is now EV'ed to outspeed mega gar at +1,

yeah dude is crazy lol. i actually dropped hatt for rotom heat tho
Peaked #1 on the showdown champions vgc ladder with expanding force mega gardevoir and manual psychic terrain farigiraf. definitely a bo1 ladder team that wouldn't really work in open team sheet, but for early meta it's a fun gimmick.
Here's the paste, hope you have fun!

Also how do you play this lol, like what’s the usual lead and strategy

Thanks! Start of game you'll need to decide whether or not to go for the gimmick (if they have kingambit, most of the time don't go for it. gard's also not the slowest pokemon since it's also meant to work in tailwind, so you have to be a bit careful about whether or not you want trick room since archaludon is often slower). if you want to go for the gimmick, i usually lead farig+incin, then I either parting shot+trick room or protect and deal damage with flare blitz/throat chop (usually only if there's a psychic resist I can heavily damage). In any case, next turn will be the trick room +parting shot. Then next turn you set the psychic terrain and start blasting (I wouldn't calm mind initially, since the moment they see psychic terrain they'll know what's coming, and then you lose a turn of trick room setting up. it's rare to get trick room up more than once). once terrain's up, either spam hyper voice with farigiraf to break sash/multiscale or switch in incin for additional support/damage. be mindful of wide guard on things like araquanid, but it seems like most pelipper and aero have been going without so in those cases sometimes I'll just send it. Last mon is usually either garchomp/sneasler for additional firepower or whimsicott to provide another form of speed control/disruption once trick room/terrain is over. For games when you don't want the gimmick, I'll usually just lead some mixture of garchomp, sneasler, or whimsicott to just start dealing chip until I can set up a tailwind and sweep with gardevoir. Incin also works as a lead, but it's really important to not let opposing sneasler get their white herb burned for free since dire claw can potentially one shot gardevoir. Encore can lock them into cc and let you set up calm minds on gardevoir fairly safely. I rarely bring farigiraf if it's not being used for the gimmick, but it can sometimes be nice to block scizor bullet punches and sucker punches from kingambit (+2 sucker will ohko gardevoir). It's also viable to just lead whims and gardevoir, but if you do this just make sure to consider whether you really need to tailwind turn one or if it'd be better to throw out a moonblast (which can hit surprisingly hard sometimes). For those games I'll usually bring incin and chomp/sneasler in back. Don't be afraid to immediately switch incin out after sending it in and replacing it with sneasler, baiting someone into protecting a turn early can be huge for gard. Specific pokemon to be aware of that I haven't already: mega delphox can be a rough matchup, and you'll mostly be dependent on incin and chomp to deal with it. Tailwind can help a lot, but gardevoir is usually pretty bad into the rest of those teams so i might bring sneasler instead. Iron defense mega aggron and bulk up corviknight are also pretty problematic. Your best bet will probably be to encore them into a setup move, calm mind with gardevoir (maybe after getting an intimidate down) and trying to break them down with hyper voice before they snowball entirely (if they also have a sinistcha, flare blitz it asap). Overall the team's a bit scuffed (the EV's could definitely be improved), but it can work pretty well so long as you treat it as a conventional tailwind offense team with a mildly cursed psychic terrain gimmick in the back pocket (as opposed to a primarily gimmick-oriented team)

Nahhh thank you for the ghosting you put me onto major game goat explanation- I'm about to cook w this
Hey blunder, got a very strong Mega Solana Meganium team to start off the Champs OU meta. https://pokepast.es/a594072017318a99

I’ve been really excited to use this guy and he hasn’t disappointed. Got the Hatt + Glimm + Samu combo for ultimate hazard control. Colbur and Kasib berries on Aegislash and Gking respectively help with shit like Gambit and Mega Gengar. Really cheap team, got top 20 extremely easily. Hope you enjoy

Champs OU mega victreebel offense by me

Peaked #3 on the ladder with this, tho disclaimer the ladder is still young so might not mean much. Felt good to use tho.

Starmies item is very replaceable I just couldn't be assed to think of anything else for it.

Mega vic is annoying as hell and can trade into almost every setup sweeper in the tier. If they don't kill you spam strength sap / encore. Also has tspikes for maximum trolling

dragmag is back with regidrago and magnezone
ts regidrago did 70% raw to a gambit
Lead moth and t-spike into grassy terrain teams
I might swap exca for some other mid mon this thing gets sacced every game. If you want a real mon use black glasses jolly gambit in that slot.

This team has a bunch of frauds but it really puts in work
If you want to play an OM before champions goes live, Cross Evolution is kinda crazy.

    Here's my team, I hit rank 30 today https://pokepast.es/3426c0ab5b0d55aa

If you're going to play it's helpful to use the /ce command a lot during playing to check speed and defenses etc.
    Code:
    /ce girafarig, gyarados
is how you would use it for example.
New StAAAbmons, kinda cute tier, i have a couple teams
https://pokepast.es/2526a190ee408d75 ---Webs team with sniper focus energy quaquaval to tear through teams (might've overcooked)
https://pokepast.es/3bab280f613b273b --Lead ogerpon and adaptability gambit and technician water shuriken draining kiss primarina (pads on gambit is for burning bulwark and beak blast, so u dont have to think about it, because I CARE FOR YOU MA BOY)
https://pokepast.es/c1d236b96b55d4f2 --- Insane jolteon set with refrigerate bloodmoon, magic guard ogerpon with woodhammer flare blitz and headsmash and av regen vest moltress
https://pokepast.es/b04948f90696f6bf -- fluffy dd salamence and insane rotom set to bait steels
    pokeyuhmon
Technician boosts draining kiss which is huge, and then water shuriken gets absurdly strong with technician. There are some crazy threats in the tier, so both Pecharunt and Tar have to be played smartly. Lando's ability could be switched to water absorb, well baked body, sword of ruin, tough claws with headlong, etc which all have their benefits/drawbacks for it as a pivot/cleaner.

A team I made for Cross Evolution, new OM where you can evolve any mon into any other mmon as long as you respect the stage X -> stage X+1 rule.

If you want to know what pokemons stats are, you can use the command "/ce evolver, evolution" (e.g.: /ce girafarig, gholdengo), here's what it looks like for my team:
    ce teamm.PNG

This OM is really funny because you can create monsters even more broken than Ubers mons.

    :electrode-hisui::ting-lu::pecharunt::corviknight::empoleon::landorus-therian::

new month, new meta! If you thought Pokeabilities AAA was fun, next up we got STAAABmons, where each pokemon can have almost any ability AND can learn almost any move that shares their typing. With this team, Substitute Thunder Cage H-Electrode pairs up nicely with dual hazards Knock Off Ting-Lu, slowly chipping down the opposing team! Have fun!
