Ok If you really want to be with Nick and like him as much as you say, than you need to stop looking around for other guys. It's not fair to him, especially if he really thinks it could work out and wants to be near you one day.

I have friends in San Diego too and it sucks that I can't go there much to see them, but when it works out it's worth it, don't worry. (:
