  • Yeah that's still way early in the game. The battles get really fun once you can pick your own leader and party makeup, since they get complicated enough that you need to constantly shift paradigms just to survive (like against those fucking Velocicycles...). Also the game loves trolling you later on by letting shit wander around that you aren't supposed to fight yet. They'll warn you whenever you enter such a battle by insta-wiping your entire party though.
    >___> I still haven't beat FFXIII. The final boss is a complete bitch and every time I'm about to beat him he does this "OH HAI LET ME REDUCE YOUR HEALTH TO 1 AND POISON YOUR ENTIRE PARTY" thing which means that if you don't have at least 2 Medics on your paradigm you are COMPLETELY FUCKED.
