Metagame for 5th gen hasn't been established yet so you don't know if all Pokemon Tacho used is Uber in this generation or not and same goes for you:
Some of the Pokemon you used could very well be categorized as Uber.

You battled Tacho and got owned in previous tournament so you had the choice to use different team that consist of 4th gen Ubers just like Tacho but you didn't.
Which means, you never planned to win and maybe your goal was to see how far you could go up against his 4th gen Uber Pokemon with your 5th gen team. I don't know.
