  • It's 51, Golbat or Golduck. I'm doing calibration testing because somehow I keep getting different delays and different seconds.
Well I'm trying to get a wild Poke, not Rayquaza.

So let's say I set my target time for 11:30:15. I change my DS clock to 11:29:00 completely. When I set the time, I also set the first timer on Pikatimer to 60 seconds (and my second timer is 15 seconds). Right when I set the clock, I also press Start on Pikatimer. I wait until a minute passes by, then when the first timer hits 0, I launch the game. I get to the continue screen and hit continue right when the second timer reaches 0. I search for a Pokemon, catch it, and put the stats on RNGReporter (also I put in the time I entered the game). After I set up the stats and everything in the "Seed to Stats" tab, I click "Find", and it usually comes up with one or two matches, but both of the matches either say 495 delay and 1 second or 650 delay and 22 seconds.

    What am I doing wrong?
Gah, I can't seem to get the delay/seconds right anymore. :(

I'm entering all the data right on RNGReporter, but every time I select my wanted delay on Pikatimer, and I do everything right, RNGReporter shows me at 495 delay with 1 or 2 seconds. :(
These were the originals? Oh btw, Starmie is semi-redis for you :p you can trade, others can't. I got the UT Staryu with full redis rights, but I EV'd it myself. ^^

    Thanks for cloning!
Ok, nice. :) I need to catch some crap Pokémon, but I'll do that when you are cloning. ^^ If you make copies for yourself, you can redis them all, only Palkia can't be redistributed by the people you trade it to. Can you mark the Original Starmie? :P
Will do, it just seemed a little odd to me, so I wanted to double check.

Also, do you have any idea how to time the ID/SID thing? I know thre are crtain delays and seeds I have to hit, but I just don't know when to start the timer, and stop the timer.
    Sounds good, thanks! :)

But are you sure the seconds stop counting when you hit continue? Because sometimes I get 15 seconds and a 501 delay, but sometimes I get 22 seconds and a 501 delay, and that confuses me. :/
    Two Questions:

1: Do my calibrated seconds keep counting until I engage the Pokemon, or do they stop as soon as I hit A on the continue screen?

    2. I'm trying to get this spread for the Rayquaza I want (non shiny):

    PID: f9426f72 (MODEST, ability 0) 31/31/31/31/31/31 (Seed: 52140289 Method 1: 114, J (synch): 89, J (no synch): 93, K (synch): 91, K (no synch): 89) HP DARK 70

Every time I use RNG to find something with that spread, it never find any results. I usually do a max frame of 200 and have it search through all. Does that mean my game save doesn't have that spread as a possibility? I'm only trying to get it for standard Pokes, not shinies. Or is that a shiny-only spread?
Yeah true. I guess I'll just work with the method where the DS clock reaches a certain time and I hit Pikatimer, then start the game once the first timer reaches 0.
Well, isn't it possible to use the rebattle legend code, then when you see Rayquaza, just save the game and take out the AR? I'm pretty sure Rayquaza will be there if you take the AR out, because you saved the game.
Yeah, I'm only looking at one nature.

Ok, so just to make sure I'm using Pikatimer right:

I launch the game as soon as the first timer reaches 0, then hit continue when the second timer reaches 0?
Ok, so I input calibrated seconds as the one I got and calibrated delay as the one I got too, is that right?
Well I usually get between 501-507 delays. But every time I try to input 31 desired IVs in RNG Reporter, nothing ever comes up when I generate it. For example, I want a Rayquaza with 31 IVs in everything, but nothing is ever generated as a possibility for it.
I see what I was doing wrong. I was hitting the wrong frame AND I wasn't checking to see if I hit the right seed.
Oh, Calibrated delay is 480, and calibrated second is 14.

Was I supposed to be putting my calibrated delay and calibrated second?
I've bene using Pikatimer, and for wild Pokemon, I get 22 seconds, and for Rayquaza I get 15 seconds. Both with 501-507 delay. But if I'm supposed to find Rayquaza on 15 seconds, and I have to call Elm 3 times to advance the frame, how do I hit the 15 second mark? It always takes time to talk to Elm and that increases my time.
One thing though. Unless I'm doing something wrong, it always tells me that my seconds are 22, while my delay is 501-507 at most. I'm entering the game immediately as soon as I see the continue screen, but I don't encounter Rayquaza until with the normal 15 second mark. From what I've seen, the seconds keep counting until I actually encounter the Pokemon. How can I time it so that I make the necessary amount of calls and encounter the Pokemon on the right time?
