Okay, whatever makes you feel more comfortable. At first I did the same. No roamers.
After a while I found it just as easy, if not easier to have them. As I don't have to call any more to know I hit my seed cuz my roamers are in the correct places.

Well, roamers are another way to check your seed. Without all the calling. So they can be helpful.
