Some pokemon require gen4 only moves like roost, sleep talk, stealth rock... But I usually RNG on BW now
For me it's easy (I've been rnging on 4th gen since 2 years). There are no tips, just patience :P

I didnt care about the PID on the game I RNG'd the egg. I took the PID of the Timid 31/23/31/30/31/31 spread and RNG'd it to make the other .sav shiny-abusable where manaphy hatched.

I RNG'd the egg on a platinum .sav, then traded the egg on my HG and traded it from HG to the ID/SID abused .sav to hatch it shiny.
