Encounter Slot is used to RNG wild pokemon. if you look at the Encounter Slot Table (there is a link in RNg Reporter, go up to, click 5th gen tools, then Black Encounter Table or White encounter Table depending of the version you use).

Pokemon are assigned encounter slots which hence the name you will encounter that pokemon that corresponds to the encounter slot. If you Look at Desert Resort on the Table, you will see that Encounter Slot 5 is where Level 20 Sigiglyph is, and only the slot is where Sigi can be found, thus if you hit another, for example slot 3 you will find a level 20 Darumakka or slot 11 you will encounter a lv 22 dwebble.

Don't worry about the synch natures yet, I guess i rushed too fast for you.

Lets find your starting SSF. do you remeber the details of that admant nature poke? you have to note down the nature/ability/gender/slot number.

If you don;t remember then capture a new one figure out wher eit is with those deatils. To find the encounter slot for that pokemon look at the Encounter Slot table of your pokemon version and see the slots for Desert Resort (not the entrance desert resort) and match the pokemon and its LEVEL with the slot.

Also, to figure out the IV, just use the RNG reporter IV calculater since your Iv should all 31 the results should be a high 20's number - 31. Make sure it ends in 31 to verify that you got the IV frame right and timer0/keypresses didnt mess you up

what adamant nature are you talking about? Also you should see way more slot 5 with ability 1 pokes than that.

No you don't, if you have a synchronizer, Do you see al those Dark Bold and Gray Bold Natures, those are synchronizable natures.

Here beloew Mthod 5 PIDRING, there is a tab for WIld Pokemon and below that there is a Nature Synch tab, click it and put Timid. Now all synchronizable nature will turn timid. You can also filter synch results by Checking the Synxhroniza frames Only box, and only sync frame will show.

Yes if the ppokemon you catch is not the IV frame from your seed, then either your Timer0 screws you over or you did not press the keppress buttons right.

PS: Glad you know Sigi was on encounter slot 5, so filter out of that seed the nearest slot 5 female with ability 1 (Magic Guard), and the 50% gender o have an F (Sigi is 50/50 gender). You will subtract your SSF from this nearest Sigiglyph to find how many advances you need to make.

No,46 is not your starting frame since just like route 3 in breeding, the Desert resort has moving NPC which will advance your frame so just like breeding you need to find your SSF. But remeber how the everstone natures made it a little hard in breeding? well you don't have to worry about that since whne you try to find your SSF, don;t have your synchronizer in front of your party. Save with another in front, turn on the game quickly go to the menu, make some chatot calls, then sweet scent and capture a pokemon. After which find it in the results you just have.

Awesome, you have done the first step well as it is crucial you always get a frame 1 spread when capture wild pokemon in NPC areas (also faster in non npc areas, but no biggie). Also, like I said before stick to 2 keypresses but if it is 3, don;t let it have 2 D-Pad Button.

Now, generate that seed with Method 5 PID RNG, then click the calculate the starting frame and click generate. The first frame will be frame 46 now in the results.

Makes it a little harder to find your SSF, if you keep getting your evestone nature with your chatot calls. It really is just more work, not really harder. However, you must use an everstone as it makes it easier to get seeds with the nature you want.

i dont think it matters, but you can search andwhile still using the first page of reporter (not sure how to call it). Anyway the IVs only matter if they correspond to the ones your parents have, so if it has the Ivs fromt he parents where it says it got them then yes you are on the right track. however, it is hard to know which frame it is when it is an everstone nature specially when you are lookin for 31 IV. Does this make sense?

Thats actually even better, as if you try for 207 but then if the NPC advances the frame by two to 209, your poke will still be shiny. This happens alot as seeds have multiple shiny frame close to each other.

As a tip, put numbers in all the parents Iv boxes to be safe, even if its not what you want. So in this case since you are looking for 31 just put any number besides that on those. RNg reporter will not take them into account so dont worry, but put numbers just to be safe it calculates right.

Do i have to worry about the moving pokemon O_o?

Also like I said that calcualted inital frame means ALOT as your SSf will be within 15 frames. so in this case your SSF will be within 48-62 range.

Nah no secret just be quick, but I can tell you this when you save in front of the daycare man, make sure the lady on the left is not moving so you don't while she walks, this helps alot. What I like to do is go near her make sure she is at the left most spot she goes to look left then go to daycare and save. After which go quickly to check the lady to see she is still at the spot looking left after you save and didnt move. with this everytime time you restart she will bein the furthest left spot looking left not moving. Helps control the advancing frames a lil better.

Lol you don't calcualte the Starting frame, reporter does it for you. that 44 is the calculated starting frame for that seed. For example, lets say this was a frame 1 IV frame (its frame 8 since you got it from the shiny egg tab, but dont worry abotu this). If you go to an area with no npc and capture a wild pokemon, you will that the poke will be the one on the 44 frame.

Yes very much possible, as the frame you get if you jumps by 2. Remember that I said my SSF is usually either 4 or 6 for me? that is cause the frame jumps 2 if you are not fast enough getting to the menu or retrieving your egg from the daycare man. I still think an 80ish SSf frame is way to high for seed, but if the those 2 jolly and mild check out (gender/ability/IV) then yes give it a shot. So you would do 100-86 (your SSF) = 14 chatot advances.

did you check to make sure the other stuff checked out? the ability and gender. Also now you can check the IV's to verify if that is your seed. I really doubt it is as 93 seems way to high for a 44 calculated starting frame with just 3 chatot calls.

I see that you are attempting a 3 button press for your IV, i think it says right+ Down+ ??. It is hard for 2 D-Pad presses at the same time, well it for me on a DS Lite, I suggest you make your searches at most 2 key presses as you will always find a seed no questions ask. I say do a 2 keypress or lower IV seed or a 3 keypress without 2 D-Pad buttons.

#1: Yes shiny tab with your ID/SID will show you all shiny unless you messs up on your ID/SID.

#2: Filter the natures to the one that you got that isn't jolly, in this case Mild. filter for mild and it should be 10-20 frames from your "calculated starting frame" if its not, then your Timer0 shifted or you messed up on your button press (the IV RNG portion)

Well you now knoww that 1 chatot = jolly with x ability/x gender, then 2 chatot calls = jolly with x ability/x gender, and 3 chatot calls = mild x ability/x nature. Look for those PId frames back-to-back-to-back, the PID frame before the 1st chatot call will be your SSF. Remember these 3 should be somewhere near your calculted PId frame look for them withing 10-20 frames.

So should i generate the list with all the natures listed as well not just jolly?

So if i was using the shiny tab then all the seeds provided (in the first picture) will net me a shiny right? just for my own knowledge :P

To be frank, worry about the IV second. Most important is the Nature, Gender and Ability as that is easiest to know (just from hatching the egg). Hope that you get a nature that is not Everstone nature. So what i like to do is either aim for a spot where there are not many Everstone nature with your chatot calls or do the regular 1 chatot, 2 chatot until you hit a non everstone nature.
