Guess I'm gonna add ".sav player" to my list of services since I'm doing a second playthrough through HG for someone else.... Though I know I'm gonna end up hating the game if I do it again lol

dang I always forget that fact T.T. However I'd still bet a couple bucks on it, I mean, there's no proof either that GF didn't get their hands on the original coding made by GS.

probably not, but we all know GF tends to re-use some old methods with little tweaks. Who knows if maybe XD's RNG was 4th gen's predecessor? o.O
it does have one. try booting it without any game inside and it should automatically lead you to the console's menu. When you have the cube move it to the right and a menu will appear where you can set the date and time for the console. Alternatively you can access the menu by keeping A pressed while the nintendo gamecube logo appears.
Well actually the only thing we could prove is the use of save copies, since there are various variants of the same pokes under the same OT. Hasn't the community considered the possibility that the GC's clock might do something with XD's RNG?

It's just that I saw a really amazing XD zapdos at one of the new threads, but after seeing it was fully redis and had the usual "MICHAEL" trainer name I decided to do a search on pokecheck. I couldn't find it, but the OT number did appear and showed lots of RNGd XD pokemon, namely several Baton Pass Zapdos with perfect hidden powers and good nature. though after checking the legal.exe feature the only thing that came out as odd were the thrash bytes (invalid), even more odd is that a RNGd XD Moltres from the same OT came out perfectly clean from the analysis, so I odn't know what to think anymore D:
do you know how to recognize a hacked pokemon based on legal.exe? (oh yeah, sup? :P )

btw is there any evidence if synchronize works on pokemon XD like in emerald?
I tought the same thing, yet the 31 speed for a timid nature makes it worthwhile.

I think it's the fact that I don't always have a Pc at hand to use RNG reporter along with the timer to practice. that's why I tought emerald could be easier since all I got to do for RNG breeding is picking a spread, press the button at the right moment and hope for my game to use the right method lol.
