It's a San Jose high school that gets you prepared for college. It's not public school, but it's not as strict as your stereotypical private school. They even let us wear casual clothes (as long as it's between limits), so we pretty much be boys around each other.

I really loved Stanford's campus though omg...
Getting into college in the US is so insanely difficult if you aren't a minority, and we Asians aren't a minority in US colleges anymore, unfortunately... In fact, they all have too many Asians LOL
tbh I'm not surprised I got rejected from some of my schools (my mom forced me to apply to like half of them lol). I mean, my grades and SAT were "decent," but nowhere near the standard of them Ivy Leagues or whatever. Idk... lol but regardless, good luck! Don't sweat it, whatever happens, happens. And I'm sure you'll do well wherever you end up going. Besides, Cali is overrated ;P
Lol yea... i think I edited my common app essay at least 20 times, with more than 10 different people giving me suggestions/advice. It was pretty intense actually lol. It's good to have them done early tho, so it makes sense. Also, don't forget about your teacher recs! Our history teacher submitted them late for all the ppl that asked her -_-

I LOL'd so hard when I saw I got a full ride to OSU and like a $1000 scholarship from UW... but OSU sucks so yea lolol
I did haha but only 5 of my schools were on common app. The 6 that weren't were UCLA, UCSD, UW (which is where I go obviously lol), OSU, annnd.... crap I can't remember... lol
