True, but most of the focus will be on a golden dragon because of it's visability. A purple dragon, though it won't go unnoticed, is less likely to be attacked from all angles like a golden dragon.

I don't like a gold or yellow dragon because it seems to me like you are painting a sign that says "HIT ME!"
Purple is more refined and that adds a slight degree of stealth at night..
I prefer purple because it symbolizes the power of a bloodline and Exerts a since of authority and respect.
Gold is more of a symbol of power and wealth.
I don't take to kindly to it either, he found that out the hard way when I punched him in the throat.

That is why I had settled on purple. Purple IS the color of royalty you know....

I have been thinking of a rainbow(no i am not in the stereotype that is associated with rainbows) dragon. Like it was made of opal. I am still on the fence about his color...

Well, i am on the last 100 pages, but I am taking a commercial break so I can process the info that I have read.
Also, the dragon was originally green, then white, then grey, then yellow, until I settled on purple.

Same here. Most of the time, people have to call my name about 2-4 times before I realize that someone is talking to me. The real world is too corrupt and imperfect, so I create my own world with the "perfect" imperfections. I am Currently in a world where a purple dragon egg just hatched for me :D
