I think with a bit more practice, you'll be a fine GP checker. I'll continue to look over your stuff though! One thing I noticed is that you sometimes miss the Pokegrammar stuff, such as some capitalization issues. Also, you shouldn't be afraid to use semicolons! Usually, before a "however" in a sentence, there is a semicolon, as it is a full sentence break. For example: I went to the store to buy groceries; however, I couldn't find what I needed. There is an exception, however, and that is what I just said. I don't really know how to explain the second example xD but hopefully this helps!

If you're worried about making too many subjective changes, what you can do is make a note next to the change saying it's optional; that's what I've done several times when I make a subjective change that isn't ABSOLUTELY necessary, but makes the prose flow better (imo). Your Bronzong check was good, don't think it was bad just because I added quite a few edits, but the prose was overall very choppy, and wasn't able to convey the message in a clear and concise manner, so I had to change it up to make it sound better xD

Ah, and it seems like sirn got to your Gliscor check before I could :P

As for your Mamoswine check, I don't think cosmicexplorer (damn long name...) has implemented CP's check yet, so just be careful about that when checking stuff.

yeah, don't worry too much about missing out the odd capitalization or so - that is why each analysis goes through 2 gp checks, after all.

I completely hear you on the changing too much vs not changing enough issue. not saying this is necessarily the best way--in fact I've caught some flak for doing so haha--but what I do is change whatever sticks out to me as odd, and mark the more preferential ones as such, or give alternatives where I can. I think the test focuses on more objective changes though, so it might help to bear that in mind when doing it.

Haha. Nah, I didn't mean the applying part. We all want our GP checks to be of good quality. That's the one I'm talking about, just like how we want our analyses to be of good quality. You also know how it feels to read a not-so-good analysis. Omicron has pointed out some. The aim for good quality is the 'seal of quality' for C&C. That's how I feel :) it's like a gurantee thing when you're trying to sell a pproduct. Lol, am I using an appropriate analogy? Wee, there are people who can do GP checks and analysis as well. Quite a few in fact. The more the merrier :)

Lol. Yep. Competition as in who gets to do the check first and who's is better etc. It's healthy competition though :) Healthy competition is good for C&C to maintain its high standard.

Looked through your gliscor check. Uncap 'Sandstorm', weather effects need not be capped. Cap 'base power' to 'Base Power'. Yea, I think you got most, if not everything :) good job! I think it's stamp worthy :D

O.O they reject for too many uneeded changes? D: I leave some optional changes, though I'm trying to cut down on that. More careful actually means more proofread to me. :) I learnt my ropes from sirndpt. You caught most things actually. I'm surprised ShakeItUp didn't catch more :P

anyways, about your GP check, it is pretty good, but there's just a few things I would add. I'm going to work with your check and implement some of my changes in there as well, and then you can take a look, and I'll answer any questions you have. How does that sound?

That's true, it's fun stamping stuff and doing less work (although sometimes the amateur check makes things worse, especially if the OP implements it unknowingly >.<)
