  1. RMT with a Ninjask Lead

What is "SD" in this case? Also, defensive Gross might work, but unlike Swampert, it is weak to EQ, limiting its ability to completely counter TTar. It also does not learn Roar. No phazer would force Weezing to use Haze/Pain Split/TBolt/Fire Blast OR WoW. If he used Fire Blast, he could not...
  2. RMT with a Ninjask Lead

I like your team idea with the exception of Garchomp. Two 4x Ice weaks on physical sweepers on one team seems like it gives me something of a Mamo/Weavile weak. Swampert counters Tyranitar reasonably well, and he provides phazing and Stealth Rock, the former freeing up a moveslot on Weezing.
  3. RMT with a Ninjask Lead

Thanks for the advice. How does this sound: Zapdos @ Leftovers Calm 252 Hp/252 SpD/4 SpA Roost U-Turn TBolt HP Grass/Roar over Ninjask, and: Magnezone @ Leftovers Modest 152 HP/252 SpA/104 Spe (outspeeds most Metagross, plus 4 or so points of speed, to be safe) TBolt HP Ice Sub Magnet...
  4. RMT with a Ninjask Lead

Here is a Shoddy team based on the concept of forcing free switch-ins and opportunities to sweep rather than waiting for them to appear. Before Ninjask + two sweepers, I ran Ninjask/Magnezone/Dugtrio to trap and kill their Ninjask counter. But since steel-trapping Magnezone and Dugtrio have the...

What is the standard Mixed Lucario set?
  6. My first stab at it [RMT]

If Garchomp seems to be a problem, I would put a Choice Scarf on Gengar and give it HP Ice for the revenge kill, at least. That leaves your team without any status inducer, though... So give Weezing Will-o-Wisp over TBolt. Celebi is a reasonable Gyara counter, which seems to be the reason...
  7. From Overhyped to Underrated!

Minor nitpick: Since TTar gets a significant SpD boost from Sandstorm, I would take some EVs from HP and put them in Def. Otherwise, your special defence would be much higher than your physical defense (448 vs. 319). Significant props for using Rhyperior, by the way. Now all you need is a...
  8. CAP 3 CAP 3 - Part 5 (Build)

Offensive: Physical (Power Whip FTW) Defensive: Special Speed: Fast
  9. UU? Why would you try that?

First things first: I have little experience with UU. -On Claydol, I would use Earth Power over EQ since EQ's main use is to hurt Tyranitar, an OU Poke. -I see what you're trying to do on Ledian with Silver Wind, but replace it with Bug Buzz for reliable STAB. You could also replace either SD...
  10. My First RMT - Counter Theme

I would give Blissey either Flamethrower over Seismic Toss or Thunder Wave over Toxic to keep it from being entirely walled by Gengar. Also, go for Protect in the last slot for scouting and protection (pun...heh heh) against the Pokes who carry Explosion specifically for defeating Blissey...
  11. Infernape Team for Shoddy Battle

It seems that you have got waters covered with Roserade and Vaporeon, so I would use Shadow Sneak for STAB and hitting fast ghosts and psychics like Gengar and Azelf. Gyara isn't exactly going to be doing a whole lot to Vaporeon, if you're worried about it.
  12. CAP 3 CAP 3 - Part 1 (Main type)

I'd like to "Get in on the ground floor" of this project and say Poison because Poison seems to be a majorly underused typing in the current metagame.
  13. This Team Puts the "Shoddy" in Shoddy Battle

Is this what you're suggesting: Replace Hariyama with a MixPert with EQ, Ice Beam, Stealth Rock, and Roar, and give Blissey Wish over SR? I guess I do have a Hera weakness, so I'll put AA on Weavile. Admittedly, a Scarfed Hera still messes with my team, but at least I could probably force it...
  14. This Team Puts the "Shoddy" in Shoddy Battle

When I first joined Smogon, I made a team. It wasn't all that good. Now I am wiser (maybe) and am revamping the team. Only one Pokemon is untouched from its original version. Salamence @ Life Orb Intimidate Rash 120 Atk/252 SpA/136 Spe Draco Meteor Fire Blast Brick Break Roost I used to...
  15. My First Ever team!

Since Weavile is your lead, I'd replace AA with Swords Dance and use Focus Sash as your item to increase its possibility of sweeping. You could also lead with your Gengar and give your Weavile Choice Band to make it a great revenge killer. But that's just my personal opinion and if you like it...
  16. To defend the beautiful Angelica (RMT)

Since you're not using any special attacks or attacks dependant on going last on Flareon, you could just run Careful (-SpA +SpD). With Curse it probably doesn't matter, but it might be nice to be able to outspeed slower Pokes and use Fire Fang on them when you've just switched in.
  17. The Downright Spiffy Team RMT

Good call on the Gyara. Zong is a reasonable special sponge, I guess. As for the Togekiss, the point of it is that it isn't the standard set and that it isn't just a special sweeper. Its ability to either BP or attack is what helps it fit on this team and support the 2.5 (Gyara is the .5)...
  18. The Downright Spiffy Team RMT

So perhaps an Electivire more like this one: Life Orb Mild 76 Atk/252 SpA/180 Spe TBolt Flamethrower Substitute/Not a Hidden Power Cross Chop And perchance a Bronzong such as this one: Leftovers Levitate Relaxed 252 HP/152 Atk/8 Def/96 SpD Gyro Ball Hypnosis EQ Reflect/SR If I go...
  19. The Downright Spiffy Team RMT

This is a team of some Pokes who I find Downright Spiffy and with whom I really wanted to make a team. Here they are. Breloom @ Toxic Orb Poison Heal Adamant 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe Spore Substitute Focus Punch Seed Bomb It hits hard and laughs at tankish leads. Frankly, though, any other...
  20. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 10

If I wanted to get a Smeargle with Wish and Curse, could I just teach him those moves by using them in a Wireless Battle and then using Sketch, or would I have to find Pokemon in the game who use those moves and pray that when I battled them, they'd use them when I used Sketch?
