  1. Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

I always imagined those two were partly MADE of rock, but I could be mistaken, I suppose. And yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of a normal type combo for a coyote. This is all speculation at this point regardless seeing as no one has really even hinted at a Coyote.
  2. Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

For a 4x Fighting weakness? Also, I can't really picture a Coyote as rock unless they change its image significantly. I can't imagine a furry animal to be a rock type.
  3. Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

It also means that if it turns out to be a defensive pokemon, it's essentially useless (no healing moves, no toxic, no spikes, etc.). Here's hoping GF decides to make it an offensive powerhouse.
  4. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

That's the second time I've been quoted as the end of a thread, haha. Maybe I'm doing something right. But I still welcome discussion if anyone is interested. If not, I'll live, too.
  5. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

Just throwing out one of the scientific methods that is used to tell us the earth is older than 6,000 years old: carbon dating. Also, do you then believe Abraham lived to be 1,000? If the Bible is to be taken literally then that would mean you do. How do you propose a human would go about...
  6. 2010 music

Just out of curiosity is anyone here as pumped for the Chili Peppers' next album as much as I am? It's supposed to come out later this year (around October) if anyone was wondering.
  7. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

But the reason I see this AS blind faith is that you ignore scientific FACT (ie, fossil, rocks, etc. dating before when God "created the world" according to the Bible) to justify your beliefs, when in reality it makes no difference when the world was created. You have already said that at least...
  8. How did you create your username?

AHAH! I knew I recognized Viashino. I used to play magic when I was younger (still have a couple thousand cards lying around here somewhere, including multiple decks). Thanks for clearing that up. Was driving me crazy since I saw your name.
  9. BP Oil Leak

Well I don't know all about the British aspect of this, but in my opinion the real problem here is our reliance on oil. As long as we are so dependent upon oil, instances like these will keep happening. I would hope that politicians would take events like this as an opportunity to promote...
  10. Whaling and Censorship

The difference between deer hunting and whaling is that whales are going extinct. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
  11. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

J-Man, you really are picking and choosing what is convenient to believe about/in the Bible. You say now that the Earth is obviously not flat because we can prove beyond a doubt that it is not. What if we someday have the ability to travel back in time and we prove beyond a doubt that the Earth...
  12. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

Exactly. It gives us something to occupy our time when we're bored. Plus, who knows, we might just stumble across something that nobody thought of before. Probably not, but you never know. We might even find a mutually beneficial common ground. As long as nobody bears any sense of ill-will...
  13. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

No, I wasn't being sarcastic, haha. The post was well thought out with good points that most people would be hard-pressed to refute. Also, it was stated in a way which people who aren't knowledgeable in the subject wouldn't even understand, thus eliminating the possibility of some random troll...
  14. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

Dang, sonickid has his stuff together. This seems to be the case with most lurkers, in my experience. Also, I have no intention to stop posting just because I've been wrong a few times. Can't learn from your mistakes if you don't make them, so.
  15. .

I disagree with doing something primarily to become popular. You should do something because you enjoy it. If it makes you popular, that's just an added bonus. That being said, I'm an athlete so I can probably help with your dilemma. The first thing you need to do is figure out what position...
  16. The Everything NHL Thread

This. And the Phillies were postponed, so if the Flyers lose I have no consolation prize. *sigh*
  17. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

I do believe that they did say they were the latter and not the former. I don't think anyone here has forthrightly said that there can't be a God, or that it is completely impossible for Creationism to be correct, just that they don't see the logic behind it, which is also understandable. Of...
  18. The scariest thing I've read in a while.

As I said, if I have misunderstood, I apologize. I have not read all of the posts in this thread because, frankly, a lot of them are just giant walls of text with little to no point in the posting (ie stating the same point over and over again). I have not seen them push their beliefs on...
  19. College Decisions: Where are you going?

I'm not exactly sure why you must have a masters to practice, to be honest. However, I suppose I should clarify a bit. If you study Architecture but don't get your masters you can still work in a firm and make decent money. However, to actually be an ARCHITECT (which is what I want to be), you...
