This new Dragonite could be a beast on a rain team. I think its at least on par with Salamence at this point.

This new triple battle system could make some pokemon that are currently useless be extremely helpful or at least usable.

If a move has less than 100% accuracy, say, 85%, and you use a move that increases your accuracy or decreases it, will the moves' accuracy change during the battle? Basically, can stone edge get to 100% accuracy?

Yes. You have a point. Not all pokemon with great abilities are useful. It could just be a gimmick. From the update in the ITT thread, it doesn't look like it has the stats to be an uber either.

Because of Illusion it might be banished to Ubers.

Now, although they make it easier for the hardcore gamer with each generation, it will never become blatant. EVs and IVs will always remain hidden IMHO.

I completely agree. It's obvious that they are catering to the hardcore. Whether or not they will make it easier is yet to be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised.
