A few (e.g. Pulverizing Pancake) do (flag 0x1). AFAIK the generic ones don't, regardless of whether or not the base move made contact.

Was taking my weekly stroll through this thread when I saw these. Now I don't want to sound rude, but I think the following calcs I did a week before should've been conclusive enough, at least for Galvanize and Pixilate. Although it's quite possible that they nerf'd Aerilate harder than the...

That statement is still much too general, and as a matter of fact, somewhat inaccurate. After seeing this I went ahead and checked many abilities. Most of them functioned with Z-moves in the same manner as they do with normal moves. Do keep in mind that all of these were tested with legit...

It seems to have been fixed. Now Symbiosis doesn't pass an item at all when switching out due to eject button. Even if the 'mon that switched out returns to the field, Symbiosis doesn't give it an item. Both of those still fail to activate Eject Button.

At this point this shouldn't matter much, but fwiw, confirming that the -ate abilities (or at least Pixilate and Galvanize) are 1.2x. Tested a 0 atk Galvanize A-Golem's (276 atk stat) 102 bp Return against a 252+ def Blissey (130 def). Was able to roll 279 as well as 328 damage, so there...

Confirming this (just did the calcs and was about to post, and then I saw that its already been posted). Someone asked if it boosts the user's own SpA - it doesn't and doesn't seem to have any apparent use in singles. Also, as the boost is applied to the stat and not the damage, the resultant...

Definite yes on the first one, and iirc the second one also works.

He meant WB, Pster and the three -ate abilities (although there are four now), because their desc says that the boost is 'a little' (which is only as misleading as you make it, since 'a little' is a subjective term).

I didn't fully understand what '"Self" KO' is supposed to mean, but I can confirm that Power of Alchemy does activate if your ally KO's itself with Memento or Explosion. For example, if a Prankster Whimsicott used Memento, its partner A-Muk would get Prankster after it faints.

Actually, S Sap first reduces Atk and then heals HP. However, the healed HP is calculated beforehand and doesn't take into account that last Atk drop (this is what I wanted to say in my second post and why went into so much detail in the example, but somehow I failed to get the point across). So...

Strength Sap fails if used against a target with -6 Atk, but doesn't fail against a target whose Atk can't be lowered due to Hyper Cutter, etc. Strength Sap's heal amount is calculated before its Atk reduction comes into effect. So, if a Pokemon with 60 atk and -2 Atk stat stage (effective Atk...

It heals an amount equal to the target's atk stat and isn't percentage based. Takes stat changes into account. Also lower's target's atk by 1 stage, so gradually get's weakened. Can't lower stats of Pokemon with Hyper Cutter, Clear Body, etc and in those cases HP recovery amount stays the same...

I don't see why Simple wouldn't double the boosts. So yes, but it'd take two turns. Yes.

The same Pokemon's Dancer can activate more than once in a single round, giving it three or even four moves in a single round! Yes, it does. Same with damaging Dance moves such as Fiery Dance. Also, this is not of much importance but if a Dancer Pokemon uses Petal Dance the regular way and...

The answer to the Emergency Exit thing is on pg 20. Your stats are increased, but your actual IVs are kept the same for all other purposes. So you can have HP Fire with max Speed.

Tried testing this in a double battle, but it seems like you can't target your ally with Me First, so couldn't test it. Sorry :(
