I encountered my first Shiny in Ruby. It was a Tentacool. Then, while playing Emerald, I found a shiny Tentacool near Pacifidlog. Recently in Pokemon X, I ran into another shiny pokemon in Azure Bay. It was....A TENTACOOL.

The fact that you have to go through two cities and a forest before you get to access the PC. It makes it really annoying when you beat the elite four without a flying type.

I managed to get all the way to the Elite Four in Blue with only losing a Dugtrio (Koga) and Ratatta (Drowzee Grunt). Then Lances amazing Hyper Beam team managed to kill Aerodactly, Kadabra, Snorlax, and Ninetales. Blue wiped out Venusaur, and I was left with my Jolteon being a sole survivor.
