my take on palafin is 1. I don't see why we even want to bring it back and 2. another great mon that is checked by ogerpon-wellspring and kyurem is not something I want in the tier since those are two of my least favorite mons in the tier currently

fyi tera fairy also flips the raging bolt matchup which is also one of its worse matchups, imo tera fairy is like top 3 palafin teras even w/o tera blast

press dozo wins, but the other dozos don't. waterfall/avalance is dealing like no damage, drain punch heals like 5% every time so you should break before dying. lefties make it much better into dozo as well.

losing lefties is a small price to pay for beating garg and mola, which otherwise would be some of its best counters. raging bolt is a fair point but doesn't fit on everything.

palafin runs cloak now, mola isn't doing shit. helmet dozo is ass on most stalls. I'm getting this from some of the best stall players. cha does win though, but at the cost of most of its hp.

water garg loses to taunt covert cloak fin (increasingly common set). plus, palafin forcing teras to deal with it is pretty bad, as that is extremely exploitable on fin teams. pult is straight up the only splashable fin counter.

stall is absolutely not fine with palafin, dondozo straight up loses to it and people in stallcord are coming up with shit like tentacruel to counter it. mola also straight up just gives it free turns to set up.
