  1. In-Game Tier List Discussion

I was taking the approach that the OP took and saying that there is no guarantee that Victini is available to a given player. Victini is powerful and completely viable but as I said before, I believe its Psychic-type hinders it and added to the fact that it may well not be available because...

Darmanitan. Use Pansear/Simisear then replace it with Darumaka/Darmanitan. Victini is good but its Psychic-type hurts it way too much due the abundance of powerful Dark-type Pokemon in the game (read: Sandile/Krokorok/Krookodile and Scraggy/Scrafty).

Krookodile also gets Moxie and because of his better initial strength, its easier to get a boost from it. Also, Krookodile's other ability, Intimidate, greatly helps his bulk. But I solved this by having both.

Replacing Pansear with Darumaka is a VERY good idea. On the matter of Scraggy/Sandile then its a choice between a bit more bulk with Scraggy or a bit more power with Sandile.

I'm going to catch all the Pokémon I can. It's just that I'll only use a certain twelve of them for battling. Even if I'm training a Pokémon in order to get it's evolution to add it to my Pokédex, I'll just use the Exp. Share.

Agreed, but I prefer Archeops because Dragon Claw is amazing, added to Acrobatics/Fly+Stone Edge STAB and Dig, there is nothing that can't stand up to it. Faint-Hearteed is annoying but 140 Attack and 110 Speed means that nothing short of a massively bulky Pokémon with a massively high Attack...

To be honest, I would replace Darmanitan with a water-type to form a nice FWG core. Seismitoad, Swanna and Carracosta are probably your best bets there. Also, you have Sawsbuck and Glvantula to deal with water types and if you replace Darmanitan, you'll have even less trouble. Also...

Yeah, I don't mind working on training Pokémon because I enjoy grinding.

What do you think of this in-game team (I always have a Main Team and a Reserve Team that I mix and match to get the best type advantages I can over Gym Leaders/Elite Four). Main Team: Reserve Team: I can trade, so I can get Conkeldurr and Gigalith.
  10. np: OU Suspect Testing Round 3 - So Long and Thanks for all the Fish

IMO this metagame is fairly balanced. The ones that are being accused: Lati@s: CB Scizor, 'nuff said. Excadrill: Other weather. And Virizion. Landurus: Other weather. Reuniclus: Reminds me of Gengar. Tar comes in, FB misses, Reuniclus down. Garchomp: Other weather. Without Sand Veil it can...
