I think you're better off just flat outspeeding no-scarf gholdengo than a sash leaving you capable of living one hit, especially since gholdengo is very common on hazard stacking and so you're likely to just have your sash broken the first time ceruledge is switched in.

I think Jolly is far superior to Adamant, for outspeeding and threatening out non-scarfed Gholdengo.
