I guess it is fair, but I just think a bit more prize support should be there. Just top 2 get the prizes then the rest who've came 3rd and 4th just get plainly nothing but a trophy. That may be true, but I believe if they did do a top 4 it would give out interests to other people to come out and play. I mean if people think only top 2 will make the cut that really makes them think if they should event participate because a x-1 can whiff. Heck we didn't even have a top cut...

TCG releases a new set every 3-4 months, as for games they come out like what once or twice a year? Loads of distributors buy the boxes then sell em to people, so they are getting much more money out of selling cards then the games itself. It only makes sense that they fund more to TCG then VGC...

Or just go dark.. You can grab the zoruarks and pretty much the things you need off the starter decks.
