I do that, I need it for confusing the opponent along with regen counterpart.

Trick people with two MMX, one with regen and one with ncure, deal good damage and either heal or absorb status. Not four, two. For pivoting.

Just had a brain explosion. Volturn+Regenerator Natural Cure on one type of poke. Idea? Half-Decent? As in four different pokes.

True in some cases, but many abilities are simply hard to counter.
