You're going to need a Wireless Card or an Adapter as a Router won't cut it really, it has to DIRECTLY Capture the Data from said Adapter, a Router is as it is, a Router that provides you internet whereas the Adapter will directly connect your 3DS to your PC and therefor will Capture the Data

Yes you do, you need a Wireless Signal to Capture the Data from your Game Cartridge, you can't use a Network Cable to capture from the Game xD

No, It will NOT work, I've tried it multiple times and the netsh commands needed (along with the Virtual Miniport) are not in XP, you need at LEAST Vista on it, but what I have in order to counter is 7 on 1 partition and XP on another partition
