Does any know how long the delay when attempting to abuse the RNG for wild pokemon (method 2) in Emerald via sweet scent is? Do you take into account both the animation and the cry/animation of your sweet scenter? If so is there a list of delays for various users of sweet scent out there?

Where does the game display draws? IIRC, the trainer card only shows wins and losses. Is there an "official" way to disconnect besides shutting your DS off?

Thanks Diesel. I decided to catch the girls in heal balls and the males in my favorite pokeballs, the premier ball. The heal ball matches better, but I wanted my pink male Jumpluff to come out of the badass white pokeball!

Ponyta is also a nice starting target. During the day time you can find Ponyta in route 210 with a 50% appearance rate. Other than that, swarm pokemon as The Lost One has said will probably be your best bet.

Luxury balls work for most shinies imo so that could work. Or you could try a premier ball?

Thanks! It was very refreshing to have an actual successful shiny hunt. Also, there's just something very wrong about boxes filled with sucky shinies. Hopefully, future shiny hunting projects will work out like this one did.

When a Nincada reaches LV. 20 and evolves into Ninjask + Shedinja, does the newly created Shedinja keep the EVs, IVs of Nincada?

What causes the ingame trainers to level up their pokemon? I've heard that it was a matter of just progressing through the game, but I'm already in the post game and the Chatot Gentleman and Roselia Socialite haven't leveled up to their final levels.
