    Politoed isn't much of a speedy sweeper. If you absolutely MUST use politoed, I'd reccomend capitalizing on its decent hp and quality SDEF. In terms of sheer numbers (tactics aside...) Politoed with max sdef/hp could take special hits ALMOST as well as palkia.

    You could always do a level-100 Wi-Fi battle just to check their max stats with no EVs. Most accurate way of finding IVs with a low level, or any level for that matter.
