  1. So, which of us is the real puppet? (OU RMT)

The vibe I'm getting from a lot of these rates is to change the Scarfer. I'm still deliberating on how to make this change, but I should come to a proper decision here soon and edit it into the RMT.
  2. So, which of us is the real puppet? (OU RMT)

Thank you kindly, Nog, for your wonderful rate. These were all ideas that had come to mind briefly and were likely put aside for some poor reason or another, but you have cemented beautifully. I have tried and tested these sets and after getting used to the changes I feel the team performs...
  3. So, which of us is the real puppet? (OU RMT)

S Rank Aegislash - Heatran can simply switch in and throw out lava plumes against any of Aegislash's sets bar Weakness Policy which is easily revenge killed by Lando-T. Bisharp - Zapdos is the best answer to bisharp. Outspeeding, surviving its hits and KO'ing after Life Orb recoil. Charizard...
  4. So, which of us is the real puppet? (OU RMT)

Gen 6, you've been so difficult. Coming from gen 4, I'm used to much lower power-levels. There were only a hand full of pokemon that could be called threats so as long as your team could answer those you were mostly fine. Power creep after power creep; however, and it seems the number of threats...
  5. Scraggy

In my opinion, Overconfidence will do the DDer a world more good than shed skin. That's just me, but considering how fast this metagame is, an ability like overconfidence is really scary, one slip up and you're a poke down and that little lizard is doing even more damage. Not to mention, what...
  6. CAP 11 CAP 11 - Part 2 - Main Typing Poll

It could have that or a slight amount of investment in either Atk or SpA and either Vacuum Wave or Mach Punch seeing as STAB of either of these with some offensive investment is enough to kill a fragile little Jolteon.
  7. CAP 11 CAP 11 - Part 2 - Main Typing Poll

Like I said, I probably have no idea what I'm talking about.
  8. CAP 11 CAP 11 - Part 2 - Main Typing Poll

Ever hear of the 4 slot syndrome? Having that Aura Sphere slot freed up thanks to a fighting type partner is a huge benefit to Togekiss. As for ice types in OU, last time I saw them was a long time ago, but the better a ground type CAP11 does the more likely Ice type moves which a myriad of...
  9. CAP 11 CAP 11 - Part 2 - Main Typing Poll

I picked Fighting. The rock resist is incredibly useful against Stealth Rock and the STAB is useful against the Rock and Ice types that Togekiss isn't a fan of. The offensive combo of Fighting and Flying as well as defensive is pleasing and hopefully the secondary type, which I hope to be either...
  10. The Smogon Frontier [Won by Gouki]

Shoddy Username: HeliosEchi - Age: 18 - Gender: Male - Location: Virginia - Time Zone: EST (GMT -5) - Favorite Pokemon: Gastrodon
  11. My first complete OU Team

One thing I noticed is that out of sheer dumb luck you now have the amazing offensive duo of Choice Scizor and Flygon. You can U-Turn with either to scout things out and continue switching back and forth until you feel you're in a nice position to attack.
  12. Attack of the Slug! (OU RMT)

In light of all of these ratings saying that Weavile doesn't belong in the team I will be switching him out and in order to think of how to best fill the spot I did what any reasonable person does when he needs an epiphany, sit on the toilet. Then it came to me. My problem with lacking a...
  13. Attack of the Slug! (OU RMT)

I wake up and what else do I find than a ton of ratings! Abit overwhelming but I'll give my thoughts. First I'd like to thank your consideration of Gastrodon! I didn't even realize Gastrodon could learn Roar, but I often wished this team had a phazer. I'll test how Roar works on this team...
  14. Balance Is Key. A Balanced team (v2)

You call this a "stall team", but this is really a standard-type of team and is nowhere near a real stall team. If you were trying to build a stall team then you want pokemon who can stay in play for a long time without needing to switch out while also being able to use the longevity for the...
  15. Attack of the Slug! (OU RMT)

Thank you for you input and I have thought of using these pokemon before, but as i stated in the team building I find a good team has a balance of stall and sweep, but I'll definately try these out and give you the results.
  16. Attack of the Slug! (OU RMT)

Thanks, I'll definately test those suggestions out and tell you my results, but to be honest I haven't seen an Infernape in ages, let alone one with Grass Knot to counter Gastrodon. Guess it's just my good luck? :D
  17. Attack of the Slug! (OU RMT)

Now I'm no pokemon master, but I enjoy competetive pokemon. My only problem with the metagame is, however, that many useful pokemon capable of crippling many OU pokemon are dropped as far as NU. Thus I have created this team to bring two pokemon, overlooked in standard gameplay into the light...
  18. Can't get onto Shoddy Battle or their website.

Whenever I try to get onto the Shoddy Battle website I keep getting redirected to various websites. When I try to get onto Shoddy Battle I get a window saying "Unable to launch application" with the details of: <snip> While looking around Smogon for possible answers before posting this...
  19. OU RMT (A team that I think suits me)

... is my team really so good that it doesn't need to be rated? o-o doubt it <.<
