Well, since there can't be two Chesnaught I'll let you take the spotlight. Yours looks more interesting visually. As far as programs, I use Aseprite, but it, like all programs I can think of, also screws with the pixels when rotating.

I understand your concern with the palette, but don't act like yours is better, please. Chesnaught may not be peached-colored, but that puke green with highly contrasting shadows is hideous. Both of your complaints can be fixed in a couple seconds, don't get so fired up like that dude.

I'll attempt to finish the back sprite for my Chesnaught this week, although that depends on if I can find free time between homework, tests and other real life stuff.

I'm not going to make a back sprite or animations for this, but it should be a good start for anyone that is willing to do them.
