  1. Sand. Sand Everywhere.

Yeah but Celebi only needs one Nasty Plot to sweep this team, if that happens I'm not gonna be able to get an SD up on chomp?
  2. Sand. Sand Everywhere.

UPDATE: After a lot of testing I found that my team is easily swept by Celebi, how will I deal with this? Thanks.
  3. Sand. Sand Everywhere.

Thanks for that Delko, I'll definately try out Forretress! Although I won't have any grass moves on my team if I take out Ferrothorn.. Any other suggestions? :)
  4. Sand. Sand Everywhere.

Ah yes I forgot about Fire Fang on Garchomp, I'll be sure to add that to it now. :)
  5. Sand. Sand Everywhere.

Thanks, I will definitely try that Quagsire set. However, I think Eternal is right about WoW > Toxic. Burn has saved me in many instances from potential physical sweepers and the likes of Scizor. I'm not really a fan of removing Jellicent or Ferrothorn as if I did it would ruin the core I built...
  6. Sand. Sand Everywhere.

Thank you so much Eternal, theres a lot of good criticism there and I will try them out asap. I'm actually excited to try the Gastrodon as I've never used one before. :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Introduction~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello and welcome to my RMT. This is my first attempt at a team in 5th Gen. As...
  8. Lower Defensives, I'll Lower The Casket

    1. This team has too much of a weakness to DD Gyarados for my liking, all you have to stop it really is ScarfRachi and even then its main STAB option isn't very effective and you're mostly relying on luck. Jolly Gyarados hits 430 speed after a Dragon Dance and outspeeds every one of your...
  9. Team Operation Deadly Sweep [OU]

    - Introduction - Hello guys! I was in the mood of trying something new so I sat down and thought of a few ideas, I had already tried Baton Pass, weather teams, Trick Room and all that good stuff. But I wanted to do something kinda original this time around so I surfed the smogon strategydex...
  10. OMG!! no.. wait.. its just another OU team...

It looks like your team is pretty weak to DD Gyarados, Jolly Gyarados hits 430 speed after a single Dragon Dance, and when this happens it can pretty much sweep this entire team. To solve this I would recommend replacing Gengar's set with something different: Gengar @ Choice Scarf Ability...
  11. Team Heavy Metal - [OU RMT]

I still have my bump, so why not abuse it? BUMP!
  12. Team Heavy Metal - [OU RMT]

Ok I have tested out all the suggestions and I have decided to keep testing wether to use Gallade or Machamp (I am edging towards Gallade because it helps with Synergy) I decided not to change DDtar to CurseTar because I have replaced Tyranitar altogether with Porygon2 Scarf Latias has been...
  13. Team Heavy Metal - [OU RMT]

Thanks BlackScizor for your ideas. I will definately try them out ;)
  14. Team Heavy Metal - [OU RMT]

Thanks for your advice Frogbandit, I have tested out Porygon2 and it is definately in :) And Blizzicano320, Magnezone handles Scizor and Weavile with great ease. Scarf helps it outspeed both of these and kill them with HPfire and Flash Cannon respectively. The only way a Weavile or Scizor could...
  15. Team Heavy Metal - [OU RMT]

Well then maybe Dragon Dance is a bad idea on Tyranitar? I need help with that set then. And yes, 3 choice users probably is overkill, but I've tried using LO Latias and Steel Killer Magnezone but I much rathered their choice scarf sets. So, I have been thinking of replacing CBZor with this...
  16. Team Heavy Metal - [OU RMT]

Hey desklamp, thanks for that advice, it was really helpful! I tried out the standard SD Gallade and its definately in, having priority to kill Gengar and Latias was a welcome addition to this team. However, I decided to stick with Scarf Magnezone. Because if Gliscor is dead Lucario can be a...
  17. Stormy Weather [OU RMT]

You really need to make longer descriptions on the sets, or else this topic will most likely get locked. Just a minor nitpick: Why is Scizor holding a Damp Rock if it doesnt have Rain Dance?
