    Toughest Game from the past generations?

    I kind of feel that the in-game difficulty of the Pokémon games have decreased Gen VI onward. Which game, according to you was the toughest and why? For me it was clearly Emerald cause of the ****in' Gym Leaders. It was fun, nonetheless.
