Yeah, vitamins work only from 0-100 EVs. FOund out the hard way. =( lol

Also, to get better items while having the effect of the ability "Frisk", have a pokemon with compund eyes in the front of your party and make sure it's fainted. Then have the second pokemon in your party one with the ability frisk. It really helps since you get the added boost of compund eyes...

I honestly think the higher your score is the rarer the items become. But it is just a guess
