I have seen more butterfree leading off with double status than mach punch breloom. I would go with butterfree

I am basically talking about Slaking. After i attack should i switch him out? I mean he has amazing base stats, he cna take a physical hit and survive at least 2 or 3 of them with his great HP. Should i keep him in for the hit? Or switch to a wall/ counter?
