Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know the IV Calculator is update with Gen 7 Pokemon (and the changes to previous Pokemon). Some Pokemon in the dropdown will have (S/M) after their name indicating they have different base stats than before. I know finding out/modifying your IVs is easier than...
Crap, it should work now. I forgot to update another place to make it work right... You may have to ctrl-f5 (force a refresh) to get rid of the cached, old version.
Did you enter EVs for it? If not, use a Reset Bag and re-enter the stats to see if that fixes the problem. If not, please post your stats here and I'll look into it.
I guess no one reads the Notes at the top... Pikachu's defense was increased in X/Y, so I have a Pikachu (X/Y) choice in the dropdown. You have to chose that one to calculate your IVs in Generation 6. The new IV Calc will have a Generation dropdown, but for now that is the best I can do.
If you read the Notes at the top, you'd know there is a Chat at the bottom of the screen called Chatango. Many regulars of the site go there and chat with each other. You can turn the chat off or disable the sound and the cookie will remember your choice.
I will, but I have to redo my site. The database also needs to be redone. Site hasn't been touched in pretty much 3 years, so it needs a big face lift.
Not quite... If you read the notes at the top of the page, you would have realizes there are Pokemon in the dropdown with (X/Y) after their name. Butterfree is one of those Pokemon, so you have to switch to the one with (X/Y) at the end. In the next version of the site, I will have a...
Looking at the base stats, I have it entered correctly (per Serebii's stats). Are you sure you didn't forget to assign your EVs? Use a Reset Bag first, and enter the stat and see what happens!
Thanks. My site really needs a face lift. The last 2 years I've done nothing but web development with jQuery, Javascript, and Kendo UI (www.kendoui.com) [I'm actually a C# .NET programmer as a career]. I'm excited to show you guys what I can do nowadays! :) (It is just tough to find time...
Yep. Hidden Power Type is totally unrelated to Hidden Power Attack Power. However, the Fairy type may screw it all up. Either Fairy cannot be a HP type (like normal) or it took a slice out of some other HP Type's pie... I have no idea about that yet, so using HP Type in the IV calc could be...
Yeah, the hidden power attack power calculation will be there for Gen 5 and earlier. Since Gen 6 is always 60, I figured people would just ignore it anyway.
Wow, a sticky? I'm honored! :)
For now, the Siestas one I put as HP Mod 1 (so 1,6,11,16,21,26,31). As for the others, I would need to know the exact IVs of a Pokemon with each of those characteristics and I could figure it out easily.
