  1. Challenge The Gauntlet Challenge

So, to clarify, my healing options are- Walking home to my Mom, until I get Fly Healing Items that aren't Super Potions Whiting out And I can't withdraw any Pokemon? The PC challenge sounds very interesting as well; nice choices!
  2. Challenge The Gauntlet Challenge

Oh, I have got to get in on this! I'd love a challenge for Heart Gold :) Oh, and give me everything ya got; As hard as possible! - I have no access to trading - A good mix of temporary and on-going challenges would be nice - All the way to Red! Just a small note; "Hard" in this case isn't...
  3. Shedinja Discussion

I never understood the love for Focus Sash Shedinja- Protect if you don't know what they have. If they switch, it's a safe bet they couldn't attack you. If they attack, no worries. The best item for Sheddy is the Balloon, allowing immunity to Spikes and Toxic spikes, and it's effectively...
  4. Floatzel Discussion

Ferroseed and Frillish are still common.
  5. Munchlax Discussion

Are Fire and Ice attacks really that common in RU? I think Immunity is definitely worth considering for a slash, at least on sets without rest.
  6. np: OU Suspect Testing Round 5 - Sandstorm (Excadrill/Thundurus Banned)

^ Waterfall on a Sun team? You're barely going to scratch a Geodude with that.
  7. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

Ah, I see it was a Gen 4 thing, may be worth trying to revive it then. Power creep, I suppose. We have more offensive goodies to play with, all defence really got was Scolipede and Eviolite. Look at UU and even OU, both more offensive than they were. Now look to LC, which has gone from Hyper...
  8. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

Well snap, that makes Chansey even better at her job! They can both Focus Punch, I suppose :P
  9. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

No-one's posted there for about a month, and Eviolite ban just makes the game a sweep fest, Chansey struggles to stand up to Special sweepers as is, what hope do other walls have? Tier's reasonably balanced as is.
  10. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

I'll happily enter a tournament, if only to fight a few battles :) If the thread likes the idea, I'll see about putting one through :D
  11. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

Heh, I thought it was obvious, but no-one was saying it :P Seismic Toss and Night Shade style moves are pretty nice in this tier, only Rhydon can really take advantage of Substitutes with more than 50 HP, where as 101 subs are much more common in OU. Not that it'll matter too much. Well I...
  12. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

The key to offense in this tier is removing Eviolite. I'll suggest a few sets- Kadabra@ Toxic Orb Modest 252 S Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP Synchronise Psychic Focus Blast Trick Recover This would be slightly better with Magic Guard, but it's unreleased and Toxic orb has another trick to it (no pun...
  13. (MC) Middle Cup Tier

Knock Off Pikachu and Kadabra are over powered, since Chansey just loses it's Eviolite. I'm tempted to try a Toxic Orb Trick Kadabra; Steal Chanseys Eviolite and Poison her in one move, then set up Calm Mind. Could work, will be better with Magic Guard, though.
  14. Whimsicott

^Because you're sapping the same amount of health either way, and you need to have 1/4 of your health be as low as possible, so that you can keep setting up subs and profitting on health.
  15. Scenario Poll

^Latios has Levitate and, hence, CAN switch out of Arena Trap. Magnezone is boned, though.
  16. Dunsparce

No mention of Rock Smash yet? Hit something on the switch in, Defence drops, proceed to (...) sweep.
  17. np: UU Suspect Test Round 2 - Cold As Ice

This, to be quite honest. Moody was broken; if you put it on anything shy of Unown or Magikarp, you could probably stall something out with Evasion. SS + D was banned because Swiftswim was not broken; nor was Drizzle; but together they were in the majority of cases. Sure Luvdisk isn't breaking...
  18. Vaporeon

Don't forget to set the Attack IV to 0; lowers Confusion damage and Foul Play damage.
  19. Moves: Snatch & Magic Coat

Porygon 2 isn't UU. But still! I remember reading an old Warstory about a Keckleon which completely messed screwed the opponent over with well placed Snatches, stealing Subs and Swords Dances. It has potential. Imagine Snatching a Shell Smash.
  20. Riolu - OU Copycat 'Sweeper'

Things to add to the list of problems- IF YOU USE ROAR- Magic Bounce Pokemon; Espeon and Xatu. A good Pursuiter can take these out. Soundproof Pokemon; Electrode and Exploud. Never gonna happen. IF YOU USE CIRCLE THROW- Ghosts; Plenty of these. Pack a Pursuit user. Iron Barbs/ Rough Skin/ Rough...
