  1. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

http://kalashnikov.pokecenter.ru/selector/ This website in general, not just the Pokeselector, is a pretty great and handy website in my opinion - it also has damage calcs and stat calcs.
  2. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

Outside of Rapid Spin and Volt Switch, as well as Toxic Spikes, what are the benefits of using Forretress over Skarmory?

Pokemon Online Username: Black Rain • Age: 15 • Gender: Male • Location: United States • Time Zone: EST • Favorite Pokemon: Latios / Cyndaquil family
  5. Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 Move Tutor Moves

Time to rethink my team. I hope Toxicroak gets Ice Punch + Drain Punch.
  6. Great Defensive Combos

I'm trying to make a defensive core with Specially Defensive Jirachi and Physicaly Defensive Celebi. Does anyone have suggestions for a third member that can go well along with it, that can perhaps also combat Volt-Turn? Edit: More specifically, Scizor and Landorus. I would prefer not using...

Awesome team Delko! Using Latios along with Rain is definitely my personal favorite way of using it. Anyways, really nice team and good job!
  11. Anti-Metagame: What Pokemon can stand up to weather conditions?

Toxicroak is very threatening towards many rain teams, as it can set up on Pokemon that are choice-locked into water-type moves, or just don't have other moves to hit it, and strike back hard with strong STAB moves, coverage, and a solid 106 Base Attack stat. Both SD and Bulk-Up versions are...
  12. Metagame Gen V PU - NU in NU

This sounds like a fun idea, but how different will PU be compared to NU?
  13. What do you think is the most underrated Pokemon in OU? (Read the OP and Post #215)

Toxicroak. I don't see it often, and infact, it's pretty near UU. Toxicroak's SD Set is extremely deadly if you aren't prepared for it, such as by having a Jellicent, but that's just about the only method of preparing for this beast. Toxicroak is also a bitch to take down if you run Rain, as it...
  14. How To Properly Abuse Poison Without The Use Of Toxic Orb.

This looks like a really cool team - the concept of benefiting from your own poison is even cooler. How often do you successfully pull off the combination of Poison Heal + Leftovers?
  15. New to competitive, first weather team [SUN]

Hi. Dragonite is extremely dangerous once it sets up. As such, I suggest Stealth Rock > Fire Fang on Donphan to limit its opportunities of doing so. Good luck :)
  16. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

What's a good pokemon for combating Sand Stall? Edit: Taking Pokemon such as Latias, Ferrothorn, Tyranitar, Hippodown, Skarmory, Jellicent, Slowbro, and Gliscor into consideration. If one is not enough, which two or three?
  17. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

Does Leftover heal the HP of a Sub? I remember lurking on the old RMT's and someone mentioned that by giving Magnezone 152 HP EVs, Ferrothorn can't break its Subs with 2 Power Whips. When I ran a calc, Power Whip does 16-20% vs 152/0 Magnezone, meaning that this would break Mag's sub in 2 hits...

  19. Rain Team

Alright then, I understand. Regarding Jolteon though, I would suggest perhaps Signal Beam on it instead of Shadow Ball, Signal Beam allows you to finish off Celebis more easily, as otherwise, most of your team will have a hard time getting around all of the Celebi sets out there. Latios can...
  20. Rain Team

This is a pretty cool team. Just a few suggestions. First of all, Hypnosis is not very reliable on Politoed - it has an abysmal accuracy that can fail you just when you need it most. In its place, I suggest you try Ice Beam, to prevent Dragonites from setting up on you. I think you'd...
