In HG my target is frame 5. To seed check with elm I need 9 calls. Do I need to do 5 calls, then pick up the egg, and then finish the other 4 to make sure? Or do I do 9 calls to verify the seed and then another 5? The guide says 480.

So most people find out their calibrated information with an AR in so they can check IV's? Or they just keep the level 30whatever pokemon after using rare candies to identify the IV's?

Is there way to know what frame you land on when abusing IV's, without checking the egg IV's against all possible flip frames (as each sequence of flips is the same for roughly 7 different frames all located in a range, say 12-19)?

OK so I'm RNG abusing in Pearl (or trying to), and after picking up the egg, does the frame continue to advance (thus throwing off my flips)?

I'm trying to RNG abuse, but the frame keeps throwing me off. Does anyone know why it I/it isn't being consistent? What causes frame increases, and what pauses it (the guide says the frame continues to increase when you cancel the journal and until you talk to the daycare man, anything else)?
