  1. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 19 (READ THE OP)

This is a game situation question; So say your Infernape manages to KO something like Swampert, and the next pokemon to switch in is Heatran. What would the proper play be, if no Leftovers recovery is had?
  2. Dont mess with the Jirachi... (DPPt OU RMT)

Big changes for team, dont think I put enough time into it Delete Please...

If I was to build a Fighting type mono team (I can use two pokemon that arent fighting type, as long as one has a fighting move) and the rules are these: Level 100 Double Battle No Legendaries what advice would be given towards the two pokemon I should add?
  5. DPP Jirachi (Full Revamp)

I am just curious: could Body Slam be worked into the Anti-Lead set? Stunning sweeper leads, and then flinching with Iron Head can be pretty nasty. Sorry for not adding much, but Body Slam on Jirachi is a great way to spread some paralysis support in early game.
  6. Official TPCI Pokemon Tournament 2009 | Congrats to all who participated!!

I know I asked this before, but what are the basic rules for this besides these (trying to plan out team) Double Battle Level 50 Item Clause Certain Pokemon banned (front page)/ no Judgement
  7. Infrequently Used Moves

What is ET's video from the first post?
  8. The Rain Begins to Fall (OU Rain)

Okay, after some playtesting I have come to these conclusions- 1. I really need a lead. Zapdos works reasonably well, but Tyranitar leads destroy me on the second turn. 2. Qwilfish > Spiritomb all the way. I am tempted on occasion to drop Sword Dance, as every time he comes into battle I...
  9. The Rain Begins to Fall (OU Rain)

What would you propose to do with Ghosts/ Psychics then? Dugtrio would be the only way to reliably pick them off. The thing is occasionally having the Speed and Attack after the rain stops is nice. Aye, but Uxie already sets up Reflect. Should I have a dedicated Screener (Bronzong comes to...
  10. The Rain Begins to Fall (OU Rain)

I will put Changes in Blue Uxie @ Damp Rock Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd) - Rain Dance - Yawn - U-turn - Reflect This works very simply- I use Yawn on turn one, Reflect on the switch in and then Rain Dance. Damp Rock > Leftovers because I had a...
  11. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 16

Hmm... Any advice on lead pokemon (unorthodox would be better) I am trying to find one that is not weak to Stealth Rock or Ice Moves
  12. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 16

Umm... on most of the Jirachi offensive sets, 80 HP EV's is recommended. Any reason for this or general bulk?
  13. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 16

How does someone go about aquiring a Jirachi to soft reset for? Is there any way besides getting one in Ruby/ Sapphire?
  14. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 16

Just curious. Didnt make much sense, but I was looking for a way to make breeding Torterra easier. Oh well, back to work
  15. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 16

Next question- does Cute Charm affect Breeding, or just wild pokemon?
  16. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 16

For Ferligatr, is changing the Sword Dance + Substitute set to a DD + substitute + Liechi Berry set plausible?
  17. New OU List (January 2009)

I must say after reading this thread and playing several rounds with a new team, Electivire is still a very reliable threat. With the speed boost and the mixed set (though I have mainly seen the Adamant set) Electivire can do a lot of damage. It seems that a lot of players forget about him, as I...

Hey, putting together a team for personal use, and I am trying to make it the most annoying possible team (stuff like Switcheroo Lopunny) and was just looking for some other pokemon I can use to similar benefit. Any advice? This means stuff meant to cripple everything for a sweep from some...
  19. Whats This? (Link's team)

Just a question- is there any reason to use Rotom-W over Rotom-C? Leaf storm cripples bulky waters. What does hydropump hit that is special?
  20. Whats This? (Link's team)

SORRY TO POST I want to do this in more detail, and post a better list of threats/ handles. If a mod could delete this...
