Snorlax @ Chesto Berry Ability: Thick Fat EV's: 144HP/188 Def/176SpD Careful Nature -Body Slam -Rest -Recycle -Curse/Crunch/Whirlwind/Earthquake This set is based on the popular RestTalk set I've been seeing a lot lately, the main difference is that Rest+Recycle with Chesto berry takes one...

Most of that list is spot on, but there are a few things I would like to say about it. I think Top-A is over-selling Sharpedo a little. Poor bulk along means it will get destroyed by even the weakest priority moves. Also, the moves it uses don't have the sheer power that other offensive mons do...

How 'bout some more Cofagrigus? vs. Cofagrigus vs Beheeyem as Offensive Trick Roomers Beheeyem's Advantages: Much Higher SpA stat: Beheeyem has a gret SpA stat than Cofagrigus (125 to 95) meaning it doesn't have to get up a NP to do significant damage Larger movepool: OTR Cofagrigus is...

That's the problem though, there are just so many good pokemon that thrive in the current meta. The only mons that I could see justifiably being taken out of S-Rank are Chandelure and (In my opinion) Froslass. Maybe Zapdos, but that's really pushing it due to the fact that it can play many roles...

While we're on the subject of bulky water types, I would like to nominate siesmitoad for C-Tier. Yes, it is outclassed by swampert, but it does have a useful trick going for it, water absorb. While swampert lacks any sort of recovery outside of leftovers, Seismitoad can extend it's life by...

    The UU Viability Ranking Thread

I'm all for sub-tiering, UU is the only tier (except maybe Ubers and LC) that hasn't started sub-tiering yet. It also sparks good debates, I could see a couple of the S-Tier mons being borderline Top-S that could create a good debate on what placement it deserves, this thread has really slowed down

Dancing with Death (Currently at 1800)

Qwilfish is a good idea, but I've already tried it, it was on the team before this and I ended up replacing it because it still ended up being frail, it seemed to be hurt by everything. I also don't like the idea of dedicated phys/special walls, a mon should be able to take atleast a neutral hit...

Dancing with Death (Currently at 1800)

I can see swampert being a problem. A bulky set would be more annoying than an actual threat, but a band set could do damage. I don't really want to drop aerial ace though because crobat can't take a stone edge after rocks. The mon I had the biggest problem with was roserade because, if rocks...

Dancing with Death (Currently at 1800)

So, after about a month of playing with nothing but RMT Teams, I decided to create my own team again. Of course it took me a while to find a team that fit because I'm terribad at team building (relying on RMT teams to ladder made me worse.) I wanted to build a team around a duel offensive core I...

UU Monotype Week 5 - Normal does Werq - Trick Room Bonus :3

Oops, thought that hammer arm lowered your opponents speed. I would still consider using close combat though simply because of it's raw ouput and better accuracy (I don't know about you, but UI frequently lose games because of missed moves like high jump kick, maybe you have better luck though)

It's definitely outclassed by darnanitan as a physical sheer force user, but it does have a 110 speed, which definatly makes it worth a mention, plus scarf with either sheer force or intimidate could work. It can pretty reliably revenge kill a scarfshao without fearing damage, something most...

UU Monotype Week 5 - Normal does Werq - Trick Room Bonus :3

Really love this team, trick room is a fun strategy and deadly to offensive teams. I've seen a few trick room teams, and have always been perplexed as to why none of them run victini, since V-create gives it a speed boost in trick room. Victini. Gets a speed boost. From V-create. I don't think...

I would say that Tauros belongs in C-rank, maybe a low B-rank. The real problem with tauros is that all of it's moves that can utilize sheer force have shaky accuracy. I think the route to go with this is to pair it up with a mon that learns hone claws + baton pass. The best mon to pair it with...

Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer - UU Edition

Can I get a link to a good team building guide (specifically for UU). I can't seem to find a good one. I've reached 1900+ with a couple of RMT teams, but I've only gotten past 1700 once with a team of my own. Is it just supposed to be a continuous process of fail until you strike gold, or am I...

Well, unless you want to talk about how dusclops/claydol/ambipom are incredibly underrated mons, we've exhausted all the Pokemon in UU and many in RU, we gotta look for stuff in NU. Do we have golurk or alomomola in any tier?

OK, That makes since sense since everybody and their mother seems to be running either specs/calm mind raikou. Pairing it with Leech seed is good, so I see it fitting in c-rank with the other mons that require support. It still feels like it comes up short of what it really needs though. It's...
