  1. How do you play Pokemon in-game?

When I'm playing a new game, I try to use only pokemon from the current gen (or, in the case of a remake, all new pokemon that I've haven't used in adventure mode before). I used to make sure my starter was a higher level, train a lot, and plow through everyone with unbalanced teams. I would...
  2. RMT (Rain Dance)

Major Changes I've removed two pokes and added two new ones! Am I weak to Stealth Rock? How should I beat Porygon-Z and Wish passers? Comment! Also, should I make Azumarill a SubPuncher?
  3. RMT (Rain Dance)

Kingdra and Floatzel What if I made Kingdra purely special and let Ludicolo have Leech Seed as a support move? Is Floatzel bulky enough to perform his role? Maybe he should just be a physical attacker? What other BPer would work well with Azumarill? I want to use him as a sweeper, I think...
  4. RMT (Rain Dance)

Dusknoir@Leftovers Ability: Pressure Nature: Relaxed EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SpD -ThunderPunch -Rain Dance -Pain Split -Will-O-Wisp I like Dusknoir as a lead. ThunderPunch is for Gyara, and WoW is for everything annoying. Rain Dance is always unexpected. This is also my physical wall...
  5. Whippin' up a Snow Storm (RMT)

Stubborn While it's true that I may be going out of my way to support Walrein / Toxic Spikes, I have gotten several concessions from a good setup with him. If he truly proves to be that weak, I'll change Tentacruel and Walrein to Starmie and Suicune. I really want to keep a Stallrein with Ice...
  6. Whippin' up a Snow Storm (RMT)

I'm going to use Gliscor instead of Swampert as a Hera / Lucario / etc. counter. I really need a way to stop those damn fighting types!
  7. Whippin' up a Snow Storm (RMT)

Blissey I've now got Tentacruel and Swampert to deal with my Fire Weakness, though I'll admit Tentacruel's type hurts his ability as a special wall. Frosslass will be my last line of defense, I think. I don't ever want to use Blissey on a team because it's boring. ^^
  8. Whippin' up a Snow Storm (RMT)

Sorry Thinking about it, most of your criticisms were probably right, though there's no way I'm giving up Ice Body. Being a slave to your theme kills my teams. I'm going to make some serious changes now.
  9. Whippin' up a Snow Storm (RMT)

Most of my disadvantaging comes from TSpikes / SR. With Hail up, Ice Body is much better than Thick Fat, as I heal up and stall. I think the final spot could easily be someone bulky, I just was not sure who to put in. I'm a sucker for themes, and want to exploit hail as much as possible (hence...
  10. Whippin' up a Snow Storm (RMT)

Hail Team! Abomasnow@Leftovers Ability: Snow Warning Nature: Sassy EVs: 252 HP / 20 SpA / 160 SpD / 76 Spe -Wood Hammer -Blizzard -Leech Seed -Protect Abomasnow is my lead and makes hail start to fall. He has Protect for scouting, two 120 BP STAB moves, and Leech Seed because it's good...
  11. Rate My Trick Room Team

Did you notice? I have HP: Ice. That handles ground pokémon fairly well. Should Dusknoir have two elemental punches? I'd get rid of WoW for Fire Punch, probably.
  12. Rate My Trick Room Team

Mhmm Notice how I haven't changed Magnezone's moves? A lot of comments are easy to ignore.
  13. Rate My Trick Room Team

Now that my team is in a working order, can anyone help me identify threats that I'm weak to and how to counter them?
  14. Rate My Shoddy And WI-FI Trick Room Team

With CB on Rhyperior, don't you waste Trick Room turns switching out after an attack?
  15. Rate My Trick Room Team

Once again I've made huge changes. Any suggestions on a sixth?
  16. Rate My Trick Room Team

Move Suggestions What if I were to give Slowbro HP: Electric and Dusknoir Will-O-Wisp in place of Thunder Punch? Slowbro would become my Gyarados counter and Dusknoir would get a nice move to hit the physical guys.
  17. Rate My Trick Room Team

Hmmm... I could see removing Trick Room, but I like Slowbro / Dusknoir / Bronzong. They all work very well under Trick Room and aren't too bad without it. I could remove Trick Room from one of them to add an extra attack or support move, though. Also, I'm not sure about Swords Dance on...
  18. Rate My Trick Room Team

I've removed Marowak completely and filled his role in with Rhyperior. Also, I added Porygon-Z for the late game when I don't have the time or health to Trick Room. I'd like to fit Stealth Rock in here somewhere, but that seems unlikely.
  19. RaTe My TeAm!

Names If you've got a pokémon named Wheeler, it only seems right to add a tricky pokémon named Dealer. If your having trouble with those strong physical types, why not make Milotic a ResTalker? She'll get a huge defense boost with Marvel Scale, and should be able to soak up some physical attacks.
  20. this team used to be good now it sucks help

Cresselia Try making Cresselia a ResTalker to deal with Garchomp, although I don't see how you're having that much trouble. Switch in, Reflect, and Ice Beam should be good enough. Just give it enough EVs and a Modest nature to make sure you can OHKO Garchomp. Your special attack, according to...
