Ah alright. So if 20 base speed means 152 actual speed... it doesn't mean that 40 base speed will be the double of 152? I'm asking because i thought it worked like this :p I hope someone can give me a short explanation on how base stat to actual stat works :)

The only differences that genders can make are things like into what kind of pokemon they can evolve, for example, you can only get a gallade when your kirlia is male and you use a dawn stone on it. and nidoran male becomes nidoking, nidoran female becomes nidoqueen etc. But as far as i know...

Yeah you've got a point there ;) Some pokemon have unique gender differences, but those pokemon usually have different forms based on the gender, so it's relatively easy to spot Thank you for pointing that out GarchompPit ;)

No, there is absolutely no difference between them stat wise ;) The only reason to worry about genders is your personal preference ;) For example.. i can't stand male gardevoirs :p

When i think of a mixed set i assume i should ev train attack and special attack, won't that hurt my speed? And besides that, is there any information about the elemental punches being included in pokemon x and y? Thanks in advance
