    Do you have any idea if the standalone works without a wireless card? I don't even know the difference between InstaCheck Standalone and InstaCheck+Hotspot, except of course that one sets up its own network.

    Oh, fuck. I didn't even think of that. No, my desktop doesn't have a wireless card, it can't connect to WiFi networks, but it's connected to my router via ethernet. Hmm. I'll try the reddit version, and if that doesn't work I will be doomed to forever have to ask people to check my eggs for me.

    I keep getting this error. I already did the CMD WLAN thing, and it said "The network mode has been set to allow". Yet I'm still getting this error. I've never been able to start a network or open instacheck, I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit PC. Not sure if this problem has already been addressed...
