Of course you end up going stall, when my first thought is hyper-offense You definitely need something to clear rocks so Dnite can be relevant as anything with multiscale. Issue is, 90% of defog-ers are weak to ice/electric, both of which you want to avoid as the core gives those weaknesses...

Said this just before the S/A+ rank discussion lock so it got a bit overshadowed, but I'll restart the convorsation

Defog blocking isn't all Bisharp does. If a Bisharp gets a chance to SD if you don't have Mach Punch or a premier physical wall you lose, simple as that. Mega Lucario was Majorly holding him back, as a 4x weakness of his being one of the most common things to face limits its capabilities severely

Here goes nothing Bisharp for A+/S Rank With the massive shift in the metagame, Bisharp did nothing but gain. It's premier counter, Mega-Lucario, was banned, and Genesect, a check, was as well. Now, not much is stopping Bisharp from tearing through the entire tier.

I acknowledge it isn't a sweeper, but the damn thing would have some potential if it got more coverage. I don't want to begin theorymonning so I'll stop here

The thing about Mega Banette is that it is so close to being great at it's possible roles: Mega Banette lacks the offensive coverage (Physically that is) and speed to be an efficient physical sweeper, while being a defensive liability due to not having prankster first turn, so it is forced to...

Doublade for C-/D Rank Doublade is an extremely physically bulky mon (With eviolite, that is), but gets absolutely shredded by a special hits and lacks reliable recovery. However, if in an ideal situation, it can tank a hit wit ease and retaliate either with an SD or a very powerful STAB move...

First off, design is about as irrelevant as mentioning the Denver Broncos in a 2014 Super Bowl Champion discussion: very. Secondly, B-rank is extremely generous for something who's main niche is 10x harder than it was last gen. At best, Venusaur could see somewhere within C range for the...

It sees the best usage of Cosmic Power + Baton Pass, clearly outdoing Lunatone, Delcatty and Smeargle. Plus, it gets other moves to enhance this combo like Encore and whatnot.

Even ignoring the Switcheroo set, Lopunny is a staple in almost all baton pass teams.

Lopunny for D-Rank: Almost a strictly niche Pokemon, Lopunny is the best at two things: Baton Passing and Switcheroo + Assault Vest counter lead. However, Lopunny preforms these niche roles very well, so I feel Lopunny is deserving of a rank. Mega-Charizard X for A+ Rank: Mega Charizard X is a...

While Rest Talk is a way to get around recovery, it isn't always the most reliable. One mistiming or misprediction and you risk either being full health or dead.

Another thing I noticed not having a rank for some reason: Cloyster for B/B- Rank: Cloyster didn't get effected very much by the Gen 6 shift, but the increasing prominence of priority, making a sash set less usable, and Cloyster's already lackluster typing put Cloyster in B/B- rank

Mega Ampharos's main issues are it's near unforgivable speed tier and useless ability, but for the reasons stated, I would have to say B could be a more fitting rank

When I say wasting a Mega slot, I mean that you're losing the opportunity to run a move competitively viable mega such as ZardX/Y, Lucario, ect.

I guess I can't really disagree here, but the defensive drawbacks and wasting the mega slot on your team make it pretty heavily supported or else it won't work
