    Pokémon Espeon

Alright, having used Espeon on pretty much every variation of my main team (~1600s), here are my two cents on her. Espeon is a nice, relieving pokemon to have in certain situations, but in general isn't very necessary. She's quite versatile, but is pretty overshadowed in each of the roles she...

    Pokémon Skarmory

I agree, Rocky Helmet is amazing on Skarmory. Roost is already very good recovery. Rocky Helmet gives Skarmory a slight boost in offensive pressure that it needs, not to mention it can leave a little dent in common knock off users - 16% hurts Bisharp especially.

    Pokémon Skarmory

Never understood the respect for stall, to be honest. As a former stall player myself, I believe that it's much more skillful to pull off an offensive team, despite what stigma there may be about dragon/HO fanatics. It's not particularly difficult to slap a status on someone and Synthesis or...

    Pokémon Alomomola

I'd say leave the bulky offensive role to Suicine. Rest cures statuses that would otherwise be the end of any bulky set up attacker.

    Pokémon Alomomola

Great discussion so far - good to know that I'm not the only one who thinks Mola is a great pokemon and that I'm not crazy. I slashed in Scald for the first set and added the Branflakes set - recently tried it and it is a weirdly effective set. As for no HP investment, I believe Mola's...

    Pokémon Alomomola

Thank you for articulating a lot of what I tried to say better than my fried ass post-midterm brain could convey. But yes, Mola definitely faces stiff competition from Vaporeon - some little things that set it apart are higher physical bulk, Mirror Coat, and Knock Off. Suicune is more of a...

Durant is a badass. Durant (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Hustle EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature - Hone Claws - Iron Head - X-Scissor - Rock Slide Hustle is a crazy strong ability that couldn't find itself on a more appropriate pokemon. Hone Claws patches up his accuracy issue and lets...

    Pokémon Salamence

Any reason for Defog? Hydro Pump is pretty nice for Talonflame and Gligar. Does a decent chunk to Heatran too since Mence can switch in on burn or any of his STABS. Dragonite is the king of bulky DD. Intimidate is nice but Multiscale is just way too good for setting up, even without any defense...

    Pokémon Espeon

I like Espeon a lot, although she can be underwhelming at times. Despite her being offensively outclassed, offensive Espeon still seems like a superior set. Her high sp atk lets her beat out some really annoying tanks like Conkeldurr/Mega Venusaur, and dent special walls (Rotom W, Blissey)...

Full physically defensive Salamence, I believe it plays to Salamence's strengths rather well despite it being the prime victim of powercreep. Hear me out Salamence , Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Roost - Fire Blast - Dragon Pulse - Hydro...

    Pokémon Salamence

What about a full tank Salamence set up? I've been running this with decent success. My showdown rating is rather modest (~1500) but it has done wonders for me against annoying things like Talonflame, Aegislash, Megaluke (who is now banned). Salamence Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: 252 HP...
