It's not the size of the text. It's the indistinctness that happens when it gets compressed. Outlining the text would fix the problem.

Those numbers would absolutely be legible if they were in a bigger font size, possibly outlined like an image macro if necessary. All it would require is an update to the style tags around a couple specific places where important text occurs.

EDIT: Oh, I get it, you're doing a doubles battle, but the pokemon aren't on different slots of the same battlefield, they're kind of in different rooms and can only interact with one of your opponent's two pokemon. Can your two pokemon interact?
