Resource ORAS OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers (Read the OP First!)

Where can I find a list of the top Pokemon used in OU and their most used natures/sets/EVs/etc? I have this http://paste.ubuntu.com/6677789/ but I believe it's months old.

    Pokémon Breloom

Ya know, I've been messing around with just an offensive Toxic Orb Breloom back from Gen 4 and it has been doing surprisingly well. Easily one of the best counters to Rotom-W so long as you're able to activate your Orb before you switch in and take a WoW. Breloom @ Toxic Orb Ability: Poison...

    Item Assault Vest

I meant that AV Amoonguss is good in RU, not OU. I should've made that clear.

    Item Assault Vest

85 BP with Modest nature and max investment can prove to be fairly powerful. And though Spore is great, it's not the only reason to use Amoonguss. Even Breloom is starting to run sets without Spore.

    Pokémon Aegislash

Substitute/Toxic/King's Shield/Shadow Ball Not so sure on the EVs but I'm assuming it'll pretty much all be dumped into bulk, perhaps some Special Attack investment as well. It's a great stallmon.

    Item Assault Vest

I beg to differ, AV Amoonguss and Slowbro are both great. With Amoonguss you can't use Spore, sure, but the threat alone is enough to play well with.

    Pokémon Garchomp

What, do you not use Scarf Swords Dance Garchomp? Git gud.

    Pokémon Hydreigon

Didn't even think of him, Aegislash is also an excellent partner. Yeah, that's true. But when I'm using the set I won't reveal Substitute until after their Fairy is gone, if they have one.

Other OU Playstyle of the Week - Stall

I'm surprised that not many people are using Chesnaught. Its typing, stats, movepool, and to a lesser extent its ability lets it easily deal with a number of threats like Aegislash, M-Gyarados, (M-)Tyranitar, and more.

Other OU Playstyle of the Week - Stall

Stall, though still a perfectly viable play style, has become harder and harder to play with every generation, such as with the introduction of moves like Psyshock and Secret Sword in Gen 5 to allow Special attackers to smash Special walls on their weaker Defensive side. This gen Stall has...

    Pokémon Hydreigon

Both good points. But hey, that's what the rest of the team's for right? Putting it with something like a Heatran would make a good pair.

    Pokémon Aegislash

I've been trying out Pursuit Aegislash and it can be very effective when done right. Pursuit's unSTAB and as such won't be doing too much damage, but it's a great tool for whittling down an opposing threat's HP as it tries to switch out. >Opponent sent out Staraptor! >Staraptor was hurt by...

Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

Using Ditto/Frisk Pokemon lower in the ladder is always fun. Perhaps the worst thing I've witnessed is a Cradily with Aggronite. Just why.

    Item Weakness Policy

I've used a set very similar to this and it can be pretty damn effective late game once the defensive threats like Skarmory are out of the picture (though I opt for Zen Headbutt over Rock Slide). Gyro Ball just smashes everything. +2 252+ Atk Bronzong Gyro Ball (149 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def...

Other Creative / Underrated Sets Thread (Read the thread, NO SHITTY GIMMICKS)

Ehm okay... only like 15% of Rotom-W today carry Scarf and Trick as it is. Just thought I'd post something that's a bit different from the standard Volt Switch/WoW/Hydro Pump/Pain Split.

Other Creative / Underrated Sets Thread (Read the thread, NO SHITTY GIMMICKS)

I'm probably gonna get a lot of pushback for this, but here goes nothing. Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef Timid Nature - Volt Switch - Hydro Pump - Will-O-Wisp - Trick That's right, Scarf WoW Rotom. The most effective part of this set is the pure...

    Pokémon Hydreigon

I've been messing around with a Substitute Hydreigon and it works surprisingly well. Not only does Hydreigon force a lot of Pokemon out with its threatening STABs and coverage moves, many Pokemon aren't able to break its Subs because of its unique typing and Levitate. For example, Scizor will...
