I wouldn't call this a counter because it can't switch into Pheromosa repeatedly without recovery. Unfortunately Persian-Alola doesn't get Pursuit to punish it when switching out. :(

Staravia pretty much ouclasses Pidgeotto in every way. The only downside is it being less bulky, but running an offensive Life Orb set with Brave Bird you're losing HP pretty fast anyway so the bulk isn't that helpful. It has better Attack and Speed and an actually useful ability in Reckless...

Ah, I did not know that. I guess Roost is the better choice then indeed.

Rotom is going to be fire. Obviously reliable recovery in Roost is what Rotom really needed and with it, its defensive sets won't be whittled down as fast. Rotom-Heat @ Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Roost/Strength Sap - Volt...

Here is a answer for everyone who has enough of all the Steam Eruption spam in STABmons: Araquanid Type: Water/bug Abilities: Water Bubble/Water Absorb Base stats: 68/70/92/50/132/42 Water Bubble is the main selling point of Araquanid. The ability halves damage of Fire-type attacks and makes...

You should mention the fact Taunt stops you from setting up hazards as well. While you can still explode in their face, you won't get any hazards up. I really like Pineco tho and I agree with it being somewhere around B.

Are you still able to use Mega Gengar if it inherits from itself?

Gengar-Mega is also a problem and it is run more often than Gothita or Trapinch

Yeah lol even Magnemite can't 2HKO it 100% of the time without Life Orb

Clefairy is very annoying because it has good bulk paired with a wonderful ability which makes it not care about status that walls throw at it. Clefairy also has a lot of coverage options in Flamethrower, Ice Beam, etc. and it's Calm Mind set is very powerful. It's really a Clefable on steroids...

I don't get you at all? Duskull getting 2HKO'd by P-Groudon, is that a good thing? Duskull does have sky high defenses of 180/180 but it also has a pityful 40 HP stat and no recovery. Shaymin Sky is pretty fast at 127, but from all the pokemon that get doubled stats, over 60 of them outspeed...

    350 Cup

Fun fact, Magnemite itself can be a counter to Staravia, taking nothing from Brave Bird and taking less than half from Double Edge when scarfed. If you want it to counter Banded Staravia, you'll need to invest in Defense tho. After Magnemite takes 2 hits, it OHKO's with Thunderbolt...

Welp, for some reason I thought Unaware only ignored positive stat changes of the opponent. Not that is was ever a good solution tho. Becaus it's banded, you can switch into something depending on the move it's locked into: -1 252+ Atk Choice Band Adaptability Tyranitar Knock Off vs. 252 HP /...

Probopass also learns Smack Down which laughs at Levitate Steels, I have ran a set on Garchomp with EQ/Smack Down/Taunt/SR and it could take down pretty much any Passive Steel mon while also setting up SR in the process.

Yeah, I think you definitely have to fit a Poison STAB move on your MVenu-set. If you want it to be your response to Pixilate Boomburst, you need a move to 2HKO M-Gardevoir so it won't set-up on you. Actually, in battle, if it Nasty Plot's when you switch in MVenu, you're screwed as it 2HKO's...

I actually came up with a similar Zard-X set which hits a little bit harder while not being choice-locked. It does waste your precious Mega-slot, so Entei is definitely nice as a replacement for it. V-create nukes everything and Bolt Strike hits any bulky water that tries to stand in your way...

Hey look! That's me! So, I know we shouldn't be talking about Illusion anymore, but because I still see a conversation going on about it, I guess I'll just explain how the battle in the replay went from my side. So, I pretty much figured out the Gengar was Illusion from the preview and knew I...
