Yes, but work towards kanga. VGC 2016, differen non-mega mons like Bronzong, less Lando, Thundu. I love megas but I prefer VGC without them.

But megas centralized the meta even more. Think about Kanga or mega Salamence, the glorious CHALK. With normal pokémon there is much more diversity, imho. Megas are cool, yeah, but they created a centralized meta for vgc. Edit: typo.
