  1. My Mamoswine Lead

I have saved and resaved, loaded and reloaded, and yet for some reason Mamoswine and only my Mamoswine won't work. Can someone please tell me if something I am doing is illegal and PO just isn't telling me? And by not work I mean that I receive no error messages, but when I get into a battle...
  2. Kanto can be Vexing

Hilarious and original, loved it. Id go 9/10.
  3. np: OU Suspect Testing Round 2 - Who am I to break tradition?

I partially agree. This is about strategy and power, enjoyable isn't really a factor in competitive banning. But as far as the popularity of rain goes, I think that the meta-game will fix itself. Rain will be crazy popular as everyone tries to cash in on this obvious strategy, until enough...
  4. Lickilicky

Anyone know how effective a cloud-nine Choice Scarf set would be against Doryuuzu, or other popular weather pokes? (For example) Lickilicky @ Choice Scarf Cloud Nine 252atk/252spd -Vengeance -Power Whip -Earthquake -Explosion Power Whip and EQ hit nearly everything that likes...
  5. Golurk

Goruugu @ leftovers 0 spe IVs Brave 252hp/252atk -Hammer Arm -Gyro Ball -Earthquake -Shadow Punch Low speed abuse? Could function as a bulky-heavy hitter esp. in a trick-room.
  6. Braviary

Except Thrash traps you into a normal attacking move for three turns. Rock/Steel/Ghost comes in and laughs at you. Steel and ghost being common enough to make this a very bad thing.
  7. Archeops

Semi-suicidal: Archeos@Chesto Berry Jolly/Naive 252atk/252spe/6hp or split the atk/spatk EVs if you want to run a special atk in the last slot, although I don't know what an intelligent split would be. -Head Smash -Rest -Acrobat -EQ/Earth Power/Focus Blast Head Smash, Rest, Chesto Berry...
  8. Eelektross

Bulky Dragon Tail Shibirudon@Leftovers Ability:Levitate EVs: I don't do defensive EVs, we don't yet know what will be needed in the metagame. -Dragon Tail -U-turn -Spark/Thunder wave -Protect With levitate giving you no weaknesses, 85/80/80 defenses, and a 115atk to hit off of this...
  9. Serperior

Assuming Perversity/Contrarian doesn't work out the way that everyone thinks it does, aka it doesn't work on self-inflicted status changes, I still think Jaroda could be a viable Bulky Sweeper. Physical Ability-Overgrow Jolly EVs:To be determined by metagame threats. -Coil -Light Screen...
  10. Cinccino

Chirachiino@Life Orb/Wide Lens Jolly Skill Link EV 252atk-252spe-6hp -Rock Blast/Bullet Seed -Sweep Slap -Aqua Tail -Thunderwave/U-turn Makes Chirachiino into a pretty good mid/late game player if you ask me. Rock blast sweep slap and Aqua tail let you hit everything at least...
  11. Warubiaru

The first thing that I thought of and still think to be his most viable in the new OU environment is a choice scarf set. Max out Speed and Attack, put a Scarf on him, use as a revenger, and proceed to let the EarthquakeSpiral take effect. Against frailer teams he could decimate.
  12. OU RMT (First RMT Evar)

I wouldn't rely on your opponent's breloom to mispredict your switch. Just send in your weakest poke at the time as a sacrifice and come in with Latias, Gyara, or metagross and take him out.
  13. OU Bulky Offense

Good ideas, but two possible flaws that I saw off the bat. Fire Blast is geared more toward sweeping, as a defensive poke the extra PP granted by Flamethrower would be more useful on your Heatran. Also as a late-game-sweeper Salamence doesn't really need Roost I would recommend an extra...
  14. omg RMT p-p-please

Physically offensive Kingdra is a much more effective option, also the rest of your team gets no real help from Rain Dance so I would go with Dragon Dance. Kingdra@life orb/lum berry Swift Swim Jolly/Adamant -DDance -Outrage -Waterfall -Draco Meteor/Yawn/Substitute About the last...
  15. Team Olympus (OU RMT)

I would go explosion on Gengar over energy ball. T-bolt already covers the majority of what its there for, and swampert isn't common enough to warrant the move slot. Explosion can still deal a good amount of damage even coming off of a special poke like Gengar. And like they say, Hippowdon...
  16. Defensive teams beware!

If you're only going to rack up damage with whirlwind on Skarmory anyway you could move SR off of Swampert and onto Skarmory in place of drill peck. SR+3layers of spikes=serious residual damage. You lose an attack, but will it really be missed that much? I would recommend putting in Toxic then...
  17. Team "Almost"

I just avoid putting them in one after another. The surprise fire attack lures out and faints steels who would otherwise stop my Kingdra's outrage. If I play it right it actually helps the sweep. Admittedly the heat rock should probably go in favor of either a Life Orb or Focus Sash. -About...
  18. Team "Almost"

This is a team that's come from putting together what I do know of competitive battling and some of my favorite Pokemon. This is the most recent incarnation of my team and I figure it's about time for some outside advice. So far it has been consistently...good. I'm very proud of my team, I just...
  19. A noobs first RMT.

    1. Metagross @ leftovers - Clear Body Adamant Evs:252hp/252atk/8spe -Stealth Rock -Earthquake -Meteor Mash -Explosion One tough stealth rocker. Come in and set it up. Eq and MM like crazy untill the time has almost come then Explode whatever is in my way. 2. Dusknoir @ Leftovers - Pressure...
