    One final bump
  3. Colossi in Cahoots (Gen. 5 Wi-Fi)

School has started, so it took me some time to test out the suggestions. First of all, thanks a bunch to you to\wo, because LO Latios has fit right into the team. Actually, it replaced Rankurusu instead of Salamence since the team performed much better that way since Salamence is a very...
  4. Colossi in Cahoots (Gen. 5 Wi-Fi)

Thanks for rating. I agree with you that Borutorosu is a giant threat to my team, because all my members are actually rather slow. While Birijion has not been as big a problem thanks to Rankurusu, it does cause quite a bit of damage and it is impossible to tell whether it is a CM or SD sweeper...
  5. Colossi in Cahoots (Gen. 5 Wi-Fi)

COLOSSI in CAHOOTS . . . . . . . INTRODUCTION Hi Smogon. Welcome to my RMT, a simple one for a simple team. It’s a straightforward, primarily offensive line-up that relies more on synergy than brute force. I use the team preview function to identify the paramount threats to my team...
  6. Reuniclus

Rankurusu has reliable recovery and enough natural bulk to let it counter and set-up on stuff like Roopushin easily. Alakazam has excellent Spe and SpA that lets it function as a late-game cleaner. I think the only things the two share are their typing and ability. Other than that they should be...
  7. Baton Pass Teams in Gen V

You don't have to dedicate an entire team to a baton pass chain. You can just abuse a single passer alongside several sweepers, I think. Blaziken forces a lot of switches and a single Swords Dance means your sweeper is getting in at +2 Atk +1 Spe, which might be enough to spell GG for the...
  8. "Because I Can" Team - Standard OU

Hi, the EVs on P2 are inefficient. Since you're relying on it to take hits from Lati@s, Doryuuzu and the like, I suggest you try a spread of 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD which should give you balanced bulk.
  9. Rotom Forms

Masterful likes to drop sweeping and unqualified statements. Last time when I read Pokemon analyses and see "it serves a specific niche in the metagame" under the description, I would get irked and consider it a typical excuse for a plainly outclassed Pokemon. But that couldn't be further from...
  10. Rotom Forms

I disagree. Suicune is vulnerable to entry hazards, especially Toxic Spikes, and is a poorer counter to a lot of stuff without Levitate. Think Nidoking, Doryuuzu and Randorosu. STAB Thunderbolt is also something Suicune would die for since it threatens opposing bulky waters as well.
  11. Rotom Forms

Huh. IMO, Rotom-W is a good Pokemon, a good choice for any team needing a bulky water. The part-Electric typing is a boon since Levitate nullifies the only weakness gained, while the neutrality to Electric and resistance to Flying can only be plus points. 50/107/107 defensive stats are decent...
  12. Latias

Masterful doesn't really know what he's talking about. At straight-out attacking you'll obviously be better off with Latios and nobody's disputing that. 130 SpA is godly. Latias does well as a support pokemon, the CM + Roar set popularize towards the end of Gen IV still works excellently...
  13. Regen V

Hey, Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I appreciate you guys taking the time and effort to help me improve this team. It seems that I have neglected my RMT, but I have been testing out tweaked versions of this team (along with several other new ideas) and here's what I have changed...
  14. Togekiss

After one dance, Urugamosu's Fire Dance does ~40% and your Air Slash averages slightly more. I think it's probably a 50/50 thing but if you have your hazards up you should come out on top. I put the SpA as filler lol. Calm + all those EVs are for Specs Latios Draco Meteor.
  15. Togekiss

Togekiss (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Serene Grace EVs: 252 HP / 68 SAtk / 188 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Wish - Protect - Air Slash - Aura Sphere Its incredible special bulk lets it check special Birijion, non-CM Lati@s, LO Gengar and a whole bunch of other stuff. It can come out on top...
  16. Zoroark

Uh one whole page debating between Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse? Okay Zoroark is a Dark type and it wants STAB, and Dark isn't that bad an attacking type. YES Ghost + Fighting gets infallible coverage but I rather miss out on Heracross and Toxicroak and hit 50% harder with Dark Pulse on almost...
  17. Togekiss

Tri Attack seems workable since it gets STAB and makes good use of Serene Grace, but the type coverage you get with Air Slash sucks since you've no way around Rock and Steel types. Air Slash + Aura Sphere is always the better choice, even if it struggles with Zapdos, Borutorosu and Rotom...

  20. When Sparks Fly - iFly vs. Corruptodile!

EXCELLENT MATCH. The parahax might actually have made the battle more interesting, since Corruptodile was really very adaptable and managed to navigate around the turns he lost.
