  1. Team Gyarados OU RMT

If your point in using electivire is eliminating counters rather than being a mixed sweeper, I'd like to suggest using dugtrio since it retains the immunity to electric but also traps (and easily kills in most cases) gyara's counters. Just a suggestion.
  2. New and "creative" moveset/EV spread thread. Mk. 4

Here's a set I've been using to some success recently for aggron. Its effectiveness is best used when there are no entry hazards (and sandstorm is of course useful to an extent). Aggron @ Focus Sash Rock Head 8 HP / 252 ATK / 248 SPE Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) -Rock Polish -Head Smash...
  3. HGSS RMT

Oh the topic of your dragonite's moveset, I'm quite sure with 0 SPA EVs and a Naughty nature, Fire Blast 2HKOs skarm after SR and lefties. Might want to give it a try. It also lets you give scizor and forry a slap in the face.
  4. Team Killer Angel (OU)

For your ninjask problem, I'd simply suggest using taunt over earth power on heatran. If it subs first turn, you have free reign to set up SR then break its sub as it tries to X-Scissor you, or switch while you get your SR up. If it comes back in, rinse and repeat. With taunt, it can't re-sub...
  5. My Team

Just as a friendly suggestion, read the RMT rules. You'll get much better rates that way - also take a look at some RMTs in the RMT archive to get a general idea of how it's done. Also, try getting a pikachu with a light ball instead of that raichu. The power difference is big. (OCD: per se*)
  6. Now kids, don't forget your three T's! (UU)

If I could make a suggestion, I'd say simply to try finding a spot in your team for a mean look+baton passer as it is definitely a useful niche to fill. Umbreon comes to mind, as it can effectively trap an opposing pokemon and then allow you to bring in a trickscarfer and torment. 6 traps is gg...
  7. Team Reflex (UU)

Is anyone else able to offer an opinion or a suggestion?
  8. Team Reflex (UU)

I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to respond to you...I mean...I feel bad for picking on people that are clearly mentally retarded but sometimes I can't help it ]:.
  9. Team Reflex (UU)

Okay, I'll test the Fire Blast/HP Flying on Houndoom. I'll also change that Superpower to Ice Punch, you make a good point about only being useful on registeel. I also do quite like the idea of that venusaur and I'll give it a try - I just hope that the lack of speed after that doesn't leave me...
  10. Team Reflex (UU)

This is my first UU team (with some actual effort). For the past few months, I’ve been and OU battler and I decided it was about time I stopped seeing the exact same damn teams and strategies. This team was created as an offensive team, built to use cunning switches and prediction to take wins...
  11. NFE (For use in NU and UU Battles)

I agree with Deccy, Dynamic Punch or Close Combat are much better options for machoke (as close combat's defence drop(s) won't matter if you're 1HKOing or stopped by a ghost anyway since you're scarfed).
  12. Mealdoy of Shadows

Do you mean Rindo for grass? Wacan is for electric attacks.
  13. Team Wargarbl

I've made changes, looking for new opinions!
  14. Team Wargarbl

Oh yeah, you have a good point about that, I meant to change it yesterday actually, xD It also works for superpower. :)
  15. Team Wargarbl

Oh, you do have quite a good point there. I think I'll keep the Occa and switch meteor mash with EQ, as getting rid of Heatrans, Apes and other fire types is really a step in the right direction. Thank you for pointing that out. I'd like to keep Explosion on metagross as a last resort for taking...
  16. Summer School !!!

Oh, my mistake, I was checking Suicune's stats when I saw Calm Mind, and got confused. My bad! xD
  17. Summer School !!!

I notice that your Suicune is running an offensive set, so I don't know if you might prefer using a Starmie instead. It has superior SPE and SATT, and access to a no-strings-attatched healing move in Recover. If you wish to have a poke that can set up on a switch, Starmie can also use Calm...
  18. Team Wargarbl

Alright. What type of Ape do you think I should use? I'm thinking that a Scarf Heatran could also work. And I will change the Gyarados to bulky because I do see where you're coming from, I need him as a solid Scizor(and, come to mention it DDmence) counter.
  19. The Iron Pantheon - An All-Steel Team (OU)

Okay, really now. Just because you've never come across a Typhlosion, and it's UU, you can completely disregard it as a threat? By that logic, a status-less, sash-less ghost team has nothing to worry about when facing a choice banded Absol using sucker punch. And since you obviously don't...
  20. The Iron Pantheon - An All-Steel Team (OU)

I added calculations, and your metagross after an agility hits 390 speed, my Typhlosion (which I used for the example) has 176 speed EVs and hits 420 with his scarf.
